Just a quick word before I show you my latest entry for Art Journal Journey. I have really enjoyed my time as host so far and must say the entries have been wonderful, and such a great variety of ideas - you can see them all here. I do hope you will join in with the fun!
The theme is 'If you go down to the woods' and this time I have a rainy scene to show you
I used Neocolours IIs to create the base then sprayed with (I think) Perfect Pearls. I inked up a new Inkylicious birds on branches stamp and then added some more birds. I spattered some Brushed Pewter Distress Stain with a brush to make raindrops then added the sentiment that I have had for ages but not used.
We went for a walk today along the river bank - a little breezy but lovely and sunny! We went in a different direction than usual - a longer walk but lots to see!!

Heading for the bridge by the white building in the distance
Getting closer….just around the bend now...
…and over to the other side for the walk back…which I will show you another day!

Fabulous page Chris, love the tree full of birds!! Wonderful photos, it's just so beautiful where you live! I've just found out there's a small river nearby. Too far to walk, but I plan on taking a Sunday trip there, soon as it warms up! hugs :)
