Dragons Dream - Autumn is here - and a red moon!

How to interpret the Dragons Dream TIO Challenge 200 - the number is 9 - chosen by Gabrielle?
One song kept going around in my head! Today, at last I found time to spend in my craft room! We do seem to have been out and about a lot recently so I have only been playing in my journals(and I do mean playing!!)
I came up with this
Stencilled leaves onto gessoed tag so that I could encourage some drips, then another leaf mask with Grunge Paste, rubbed over with Inca gold and Burnt Umber DecoArt Media fluid acrylics, then stems painted in with Burnt Sienna. The leaves around the edge from a sunflower stamp and words printed out on the computer. I know that there are 10 leaves but the 9 is for September and the song I am sure you have guessed, is the old Frank Sinatra classic 'September in the Rain' - although I must say how lucky we are at the moment to have some sunny weather after the rain at the beginning of the month!
I may have mislead you into thinking I got a super shot of the moon last night - huh!! I need a new camera!!!!
The best I could do - but I really did enjoy seeing it, just as I had enjoyed seeing the moon the morning before at 6.00am(can't go all night without a loo trip!)By the time I had found my camera it had almost disappeared behind the hill at the caravan.
It was a red ball in the sky when I saw it!!
This evening - the clouds are a beautiful pink…I love Autumn!!
From another Frank Sinatra classic -
Oh, it's a long, long while from May to December
But the days grow short when you reach September

When the autumn weather turns the leaves to flame

 Thanks for looking, Chris

Fabulous textured leaves on your tag - I love all the shades of brown. I set my alarm to get up and see the moon and I'm glad I did.

glad you got time to enter TIO - fabulous tag! At least you saw the moon, I woke twice (drat it!) and couldn't see it either time!

Great autumnal tag, Chris! I love the background and the lovely focal leaf. At least you saw the moon - I slept through it; but hubby captured it on camera! He reckoned it was quite a challenge and he's an experienced photographer, so you didn't do too badly at all!xx

Ohh I just love how you got the textures on those leaves and how subtly blended and feminine the tag is xx

Wow, how late can I get? Pretty late. I like that tag. It is nicely done, especially with the texture you created.

I couldn't see the moon because it was overcast, and the eclipse had come and gone before I realized it. Much earlier than I expected since I was on European time (grin). So, you did ok with your photo of it especially if you didn't set up a tripod to get it.

Beautiful leaves tag. The texture you've given the leaves looks awesome!
