Inspired by..

Hi everyone, we have been having a few problems with our internet connection, so much so that our payment didn't go through for our food delivery this week. Fortunately we have been told we can have a delivery tomorrow evening...between 5pm and 9pm - I hope it's sooner rather than later. Fortunately I have been doing a little bit of batch cooking and we aren't going to go hungry and we even had some fresh veggies left from last Tuesday.

I made a page for Eileen's 'Inspired By' theme at Art Journal Journey.

Okay, you can laugh, but this was inspired by seeing this Tim Holtz snarky word strip that I caught sight of while searching for something else.

I does rather sum me up on occasions.

I had just the stamp for it too - from a new Paper Artsy Lynne Perrella set, which went perfectly over a long neglected mop up page in my journal. I added white pen in parts of the image

The umbel is cut from packaging.

Thanks for looking, Chris

I’m not sure I can get this comment typed...I’m laughing too much!!! Boy, if that isn’t me too sometimes! You’re right, she’s the perfect stamp to go along with the words. Is that stitching a die??? I NEED that die! The stitches look great as partial framing. The mop up page turns out to be a good background. Love the flower cut from packaging.

*wow* a great, fabulous journal site, I'm thrilled how you managed it all together and the mix of colors. The sentence is good sometimes it happens to me ...
I love that when the internet doesn't work when you need it. Hope for you that it goes well, hug Elke

I love this new set of Lynne Perrella stamps (well I love all 4 sets). You made a great page with it Chris. She does look a bit snarky and exotic all rolled into one. Hope you get your grocery order to work this time. Sometimes I internet connection is not good and it is the worst when you need something by using it. Happy new week. Hugs-Erika

The perfect stamp for the quote. What a great page - one would not know it started life as a mop up. Great fun Chris.
Sorry to hear about the computer - I don't know about you but keeping veg when on a two week delivery slot is not easy. Roll on the time when I feel safe to go into a shop.
Hugs, Neet xx
