June over and a new month started...

….in my 365 Calendar Journal.
I started making these journals in 2011 and used to link to Kate's Katherine Wheel blog. It was Kate who inspired me and I have loved making mine - and looking back at the changes in my decorating style as well as what we have been up to each year! Sadly there is no longer a link on Kate's blog although there is a link through Face Book, something I am not happy about joining in with for various reasons!

I still enjoy making my pages though - here are my July pages
I added DIs using Scattered Straw, Abandoned Coral and Cracked Pistachio spritzed on an acrylic block and randomly 'stamped' and then used the same colours through several types of circle stencils. I used a set of stamps that I bought in Cultura at la Defence in Paris.
If you want to see what I have been up to this month feel free to take a close look!

I'll be back tomorrow as I am going to join Elizabeth for a second look at a previously published post and something I made ages ago about the caravan that you won't have seen!
  Thanks for looking, Chris

Golly, I think I've missed some calendar pages - seems like ages since I've seen any... and these are lovely. I'm still with you on the Facebook refusenik position - holding out, seems like we're the last few! Sorry to have missed so much again lately. I've got a couple of weeks coming up soon where I hope to do some proper catching up.

I'm also a hold out on joining Facebook, or any other social internet site, except blogging. YOUR calendar is a REAL art journal calendar and is extremely artistic. If I didn't know better, I would think you are celebrating our Independence Day with fireworks, because those July bursts look like fireworks to me. I LOVE both pages and really enjoy seeing what you have accomplished for the month.

Fantastic calendar page with lovely colours, and I know what you mean about Facebook, I don't want to go there either! Have a nice day, hugs, Valerie

Amazing calendar pages and great that you fill them in. You would need very big boxes to put in all the wonderful things that you do.

I once joined Facebook but unjoined ASAP, it amazed me how many people got in touch with me from the past and a lot of them I was happy to forget lol

Love Chrissie xx

I am also cautious about Facebook. It's not easy to unsubscribe, if that's the right word.
I always shy away from any social media, it's not really me.

Your calendar pages are very nice.

It's lovely that you fill in your pages Chris and I'm surprised that you can get everything in on those squares, you always seem to be doing lots.
DD set me up on Facebook, but apart from sending Happy Birthday wishes I've never put anything on - it's too random and public for me.
Have a great weekend.

Love your July calendar page Chris. Sadly I have to use FB because of a DT I am on, if you can avoid it a while longer I would certainly do so!! Hugs, Anne xx

Beautiful page for July Chris! So summery! I agree with Anne about Facebook. I closed down my personal page years ago, but then had to open a craft page for DT work. Still haven't decided if it's worth it or not. lol. sending hugs :)
