WOYWW 247

Did I say things were going to change? Well they have - not as much as I'd like at the moment but I'm not far off. So....my desk - here on show at Julia's Stamping Ground where you will find all you need to know about how to join in - if you remember looked like this

Now it's like this

The photos above were taken yesterday when I'd finished

So this morning - a test drive so to speak - couldn't sleep so set to on round two of number one sons wedding invites - round one samples too plain!! He wants something more....my style - I had tried to do rather formal looking CAS style and it quite clearly wasn't what they expected so hopefully this next lot will do the trick!

We are off to see The Monument Men today so will get around at some point but I'm not going to miss a George Clooney film am I?

Ooh! Forgot to point out Happy Mail on my desk from Our Creative Corner's Laura - I was "pulled out of the random hat" the other week - Yay!!

See you later, thanks for looking, Chris

Love the re-org, I smiled when I saw your monster pencil case, I have one of those and I keep my button brooch making kit in it. Good luck with the invites, I stopped doing those, once I encountered too many fussy couples :) Cx #28

Hope you enjoyed the film. Isn't it interesting when we change our style to conform with what we think they might want, people prefer us to be ourselves? I do hope your second 'go' is right up his and his fiancee's street. Handmade wedding invites sound like a lovely idea to me. Sorry I could join in with WOYWW again this week as my daughter was very poorly in the night. She seems lots better today thankfully. Julie Ann xxx

Trust the film was good, and a due reward after all that sorting. Enjoy doing your own style on the invites!!
Have a great week.

Wow Chris! the streamlining looks great! I presume it works as well as you're up with the sparrows! I'm happy about your son's flattering decision about their invites, how sweet. and how typical that you should come up with something that you 'thought' would be appropriate rather than your own style...how modest you are!

Plenty of organising going on, it does help the creativity when you find all those bits and pieces you'd forgotten about, doesn't it? New link at #102, as my first one linked to last week. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz XX

After a disastrous week and weekend, I'm finally able to stick my head above water long enough to return your visit from last Wednesday. I wouldn't miss a reorganization. This one is super and looks good, too. And of course, it was great to read your son's decision on the wedding invitations.
