WOYWW 187

Well, not actually my desk but the dining table at the caravan - what? Away again? Yep! We've been having a great New Year with my son and two of my lovely grandchildren. I hope that your New Year is starting as well as mine and I wish you all a very Happy New Year! Now two have gone home and my grandson is staying on with us for a couple more days.
So this is what's going on, of course without Julia and her nosy curious followers there wouldn't be an occasion like this to travel the world's work desks! Want to see more? Follow the links from here.
I'm trying to get my calendar journal ready(hopefully to post later today - it now being the 2nd of the month!)Ive also been making a few journal pages, although mainly balanced on my lap.
Yesterday this very same table was used to make Thank You cards with my grand daughter - whoops - no photos!
Today though the main thing that's showing isn't mine, the green page at the bottom of the post is my grandson's.
Here it is in full

Very clever don't you think, he's very modest but this came from what he said was a sort of mistake so he started to doodle around it! He's got quite a few of his friends impressed and starting their own as well as his little sister! He's now started one in a different colour - not bad for a ten year old eh!

Finally a photo of my view from our new caravan, its the same view as I've shown you before but now I can sit and look at it as the kitchen sink is over the other side now!
Have a great day whatever you're doing - we're out for a while(and lunch I hope) but will be back later for a snoop around,LOL!
Thanks for looking, Chris

Your grandson is certainly very talented, I love the green artwork. I hope you will be putting it up on the wall.
I have envy of yor caravan life style. I would love to have one but my better half is less keen by quite a lot. I used to have a little one, but let it go when we moved to Oxford.

Love the doodling! I so admire people who can. I can make a mean stick figure but that is the extent of my doodling skills. Good luck finishing your calendar! Happy WOYWW! Tammy #90

Wow that is impressive - what a talented young man, you must be so proud of him.
Is your caravan a static one then? I imagined you travelling around.
What a lovely way to bring in the New Year - Happy one to you all.

What an awesome view. I wish I had a mobile home so I could go visit and not have to actually "stay" with those I visit. I need space sometimes and having a caravan would be so nice. Love the GS artwork! Hope you have a Happy and Prosperous New Year! Look forward to your posts in 2013! Vickie #17

Happy new year I hope it's a really good one for you and your family. Your Gson is very talented I actually thought the green art work was something you had done with a Gelli Plate it is so good. Fantastic view from your caravan I always wanted a caravan but unfortunately DH is not of the same mind so I am green with envy of you. xx

Nice view, are you getting used to the sink being on the wrong side?! love the GS doodling, my word they're so uninhibited aren't they, we could all learn from then.

Life in the cozy caravan! That is quite a nice view and I like your work space. Great doodling journal cover. I'd say your GS has the crafty gene for sure! Happy new year!

My word, looks like you have some crafty competition on your hands Chris, that page is amazing! Love your view, but The Lakes is one of my favourite places anyway. Hope you have a wonderful 2013.

You have a bit more room to craft in your caravan, we only have a tourer, so I limit myself to colouring in etc, and put things together when I get home. Thank you for your visit today. I can't wait to get going with my crafting again this year. Happy New Year. xx Maggie #45

What a beautiful spot to sit & look at. Your Grandson has done an awesome job with his doodling- and isn't it great that his friends think its cool too?Nothing puts kids off something faster than negative peer pressure, does it? Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #41

Your caravan views are wonderful. Are you in a resort with other caravnas about? It looks almost like you have a piece of land there...the views are superb.

We have a static 5th wheel. We had it delivered from the dealer to our lot...we have never driven it! lol Our lot is in a resort so we don't have views like you!!! Ours is 4 hours from home so I hate the drive...I am so ready to be there after 3 hours! But I love it and take my paper crafts up there too.

You grandson is a talented artist. That green paper should be framed!
