WOYWW 178

Is it just me or are the weeks(as well as the days) getting shorter? Today is the day when courtesy of Julia at Stamping Ground we get to travel around the world dropping in to a few crafty desks on the way!
I'm afraid my is a bit of a Halloween horror today, except there's nothing really Halloweeny about it just a horror!!
I got something in my head this morning,(following a telephone conversation with my grandson last night and a vivid dream(more of that in another post)and started this before breakfast - my space looked really tidy(it did - honest) when I started, with evidence of yesterdays play with my new toy - a Bigshot- that I bought using a 20% voucher - can you see the rosette?
I stopped for breakfast then carried on till hubby made me go out to do some chores, lunch out and here I am again, late!
I hope to do a little more visiting this week and do hope you'll come to mine - I'll tidy up(a bit!), I have to really as my friend Sarah is coming round for a play day on Friday so I have to make room for two Aaaaagh!!
Thanks for looking, Chris

Hope you have a great time crafting with your friend, although it can be a nightmare trying to make the space for one stretch for two. It did give me the impetus to get my room a bit tidier, and to clear my desk after each project. Your journal page has some beautiful things on it, I kept looking to see what else I could find. Hope your grandson's ideas and your dream bring forth loads of wonderful crafting. Look forward to seeing it. Thank you for your visit today. Have a good week. xx Maggie #42

Great looking desk and journal. I have seen christmas trees made with the rosettes by stacking them 2-3 of each size together. Very nice. I just got the rosette snowflake dies and can't wait to cut a few out! Thanks for sharing, commenting by my blog, and have a great week! Vickie #38

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment and I'll add you to the list. Your desk still looks good to me with interesting goings on there. I'm sure you'll have a great time with Sarah. I must admit I'm easily dragged away from my craft room if a meal out is offered. You just leave other things to make the tie up!

You will love your new Bigshot. I have one and love what I can do with it. Your desk doesn't look scary at all and those rosettes are great. Keep thinking I must try doing some of those.

Hi Chris, nice to see you again. Hope you and Sarah achieve your target, if you don't at least you will have lots of chat and fun. Congrats on the BS, I have a few machines but not the BS, for some reason I don't seem to get on with it.
Hugs, Neet x 23 (and thanks for your visit)

There'll be no stopping you now you have a Big Shot Chris. The days are getting shorter and not just the light. My neighbours have gone off to Goa for an other 6 months of sun while we freeze here. They go every year but it seems only yesterday they came back but it was last April!!!!

Bet the Bigshot gets a lot of use, good investment. Love what your GD made in the earlier post for Halloween, just don't let her see your Bigshot! This whole year has flown by, can't believe it's November already.
