T Stands For The Quick Walk!

Hi everyone, thanks so much for all the good wishes following my fall last week! I am still aching but the bruises are heading towards yellow now.

It was sunny but cold and windy this morning but we wanted to see how well Fletcher Moss was recovering after being used as a flood plain the other week.

A lot of the paths are still muddy...

...but the Spring flowers more than made up for that.

This area was under water but the crocus and daffodils survived
Near the cafe area - crocuses, snowdrops and daffodils - this part is higher up and didn't get flooded
This young lady kept going back and forth striking poses against the back drop of Spring flowers

It seems it was too cold for lots of folk to be sitting outside with a drink - including us.
We had food shopping to do but not before calling to our favourite cafe for coffee and pastries
Hubby had a flat white while I had my usual Americano. My croissant was delicious and hubby enjoyed his chocolate filled pastry!

Thanks for looking, Chris

Oh wow the spring blooms are so pretty, no blooms here yet and we went back to cold this week.

The spring flowers are so lovely! But the paths are indeed quite muddy. It's weird how different everything is - your part was flooded whereas we are starting the third year of drought. I wish it was a little more balanced.

Good to hear you are recovering. I fell when a chair broke under me but by incredible luck fell onto a pile of blankets! Falls are really scary. Keep getting better.

A beautiful view on your quick walk. Loved seeing all the spring flowers especially the crocuses and snowdrops. I am a bit envious as we are supposed to get snow tomorrow. The pastries look delicious!
Happy Tea Day,

Those spring flowers are amazing. They definitely make up for the mud. We had inches of mud right now, and some still snowy ground, but no spring flowers yet, so once again I'll enjoy yours. It looks so pretty Chris. Hope it was a great T day. Hugs-Erika

Definitely looks like spring--mud and all.
Glad you are slowly feeling better. :)

All those crocus! I've never seen so many. A croissant and a cuppa sounds good about now. Happy T Day

First, I hope you continue to improve from your fall. And I hope you will soon be back to your normal color, too!

All those crocuses and daffs are amazing compared to the mud you had to wade through. Abd some of those tress that survved the flood were amazing too.

I would love a coffee and pastry like what T had. Thanks for sharing your walk and your coffee and croissant with us for T this week, dear Chris.
