T stands for…Take a look at these….

…fabulous pages from Elizabeth
By now you probably know that I am taking part in a journal page tip in swap with some very talented folk!
These pages are for my chosen theme Gardens(with no frogs please).
The pages arrived in a big brown envelope with all these fabulous stamps on
The first few pages are depicting the nursery rhyme Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary and if you take a look here on Elizabeth's blog she explains the meaning behind the words of this seemingly lovely rhyme!
The details of how Elizabeth created these pages is also there.

This page so impressed both me and hubby
This velum paper is so beautiful

This next page suffered a little tragedy and it wasn't until I saw the photo that I remembered I hadn't stuck the letters back on( I will get it done this evening E!)

They all arrived with a tag to identify the artist - when I saw this I roared with laughter so much that hubby thought I had totally lost it!!
Thanks, Elizabeth for 'No Frogs'!
This is the front of the tag
This isn't all either Elizabeth sent me some gorgeous flower stamps and sentiments that I know I am going to be using ..a lot!

Thank You so much for these lovely pages Elizabeth and also for the laughter and the fabulous stamps!

Now, I am here for T Stands For Tuesday at Elizabeth's and her 2 cats (not) in the yard!

Last week we went to our caravan - the reason that many of you didn't get a comment from me, as the reception was the worst it has ever been!
We had two days out even though the weather wasn't particularly brilliant. On the first day we went to Hawes, a lovely little town in the Dales.
We once stayed at this hotel

These chimney pots have a price tag of around £60 pounds - we have 3 of them in our caravan garden that we discovered in the overgrown hedge

We started and ended up here..
….where we started with lunch along with our water
A ham and cheese platter - delicious!
This was the days special although there was plenty to choose from

The cafe and shop are in a new building that we returned to for a coffee and a little spend!
Love these mugs and fun bags
…oh and did I mention the cheese shop…samples to try before you buy- did I? You bet I did…

I think I should stop here before you all nod off - I will be back another day with photos of the fabulous gardens at Dalemain House - it was blue poppy time - beautiful

Thanks for looking, Chris

Thank you SO much for showing the zipper tip-in and a close up of the vellum roses. Seems several of the pages got bent out of shape (no pun intended) probably due to the way I packed them.

OK, I KNOW I'm of British descent, but I think you should explain to those of us who live across the pond that the Sausage Butty is NOT about someone's behind, but a shortcut for BUTTER on the bread! Are you surprised I knew that? Just one of those trivial random tidbits that is uselessly taking up space in my head.

I really enjoyed your trip to Hawes. Finding your own chimney pots is a remarkable discovery. Even better once you know how much they cost initially, or if you had to replace them.

Your ham and cheese platter looks wonderful and is truly making me hungry. Water with a large lunch like that is always best.

Thanks for sharing these photos of Hawes and your lunch at the Creamery (love their logo) with us for T this Tuesday.

And thanks, too, for showing the tip-ins I failed to photograph properly.

Oh my-this post is an explosion of good things!! E's pages are like looking upon a beautiful spring garden of blooms-they are just gorgeous!! I have always appreciated stamps coming from places other than my own and love to reuse them in art. Your trip is such a delight-i would enjoy every bit of what you shared including the lunch and those cheeses:) Happy T day!

Wow! I really enjoyed your blog! I loved to see all that art (Yes, the zipper tulips are awesome!)
Great photos of your little holiday. Was the hotel named after a fictional vet by any chance?
Wensleydale cheese was made famous by Wallace and Gromit but I don't think I've ever eaten it. I bet it is delicious. I would have loved that gift shop. The little dog on top of the shelves is cute.
The blue poppies are beautiful!
What a great post! Thanks for sharing.
Happy T-Day,
Blessings,
Lisca

Just catching up on a few of your posts and love to see both the artwork and your trips out. Even if I have visited the places you profile you always seem to find details I missed! Of course that makes me want to pay a return trip to see what you managed to find.
Thanks so much for your phone call and for your invite. Sorry I cannot join you but will think of you when we are in Northumberland.

Very late getting around to my T friends. Glad I didn't miss this though. Wonderful swap pages. Opening the package must have been exciting. I admit I got stopped at the cheese photo though. I really enjoy going to cheese shops that give you a little sample. Of course I always come home with a few pieces of cheese. How can I resist?
