Hi everyone, I am having a little recovery time after a visit to the dentist yesterday.
A few weeks ago my hygienist found a problem with one of my teeth, the dentist took an x-ray and found a hole under my gum. After a cancelled appointment 2 weeks ago I finally got it fixed yesterday. It took the dentist two goes as the first time it didn't fill properly because my gum was bleeding a lot - when it finally stopped it had to be drilled again, fortunately that time it was successful but my mouth is sore. Hubby who was waiting to take me home had begun to worry about the time it was taking.
Today has been a fairly lazy day going through boxes of potential craft stuff (in other words Junk I find hard to throw away)and I have empty boxes now. I am not short of things to fill them with though but I am slowly getting organised once more!
I also finished off my Calendar Journal - I couldn't think what to put along the bottom - until I remembered my Janet Klein animals.
I though I would focus on Valentines Day!
I used a Lavinia stencil and two colours of Distresss ink (Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry)
The two figures are Stampotique stamps, paper pieced.
I drew and coloured the hearts with fineliners.
I'm joining in at Art Journal Journey and Erika's 'Seeing Red' theme
Here is January all filled in

Glad you are taking care of yourself! And look how much you're accomplishing. Thanks for sharing
That sounds like a painful dentist visit-glad it was able to get fixed. I go through my saved papers once a year or so-last year I really tossed allot.
Pretty calendar pages
This is a fun calendar and I like those JK animals. They work great along bottom. I even like those little birds. Thanks for making it for AJJ.I like that pink too. I hope your mouth feels better soon and you have a wonderful weekend. Hugs-Erika

Looks like you're feeling much better to make a delightful calendar page. Love those kitties.
Tooth aches can be the worst of all. I am glad the dentist was finally able to fix your problem.
I love this new calendar spread. Your calendar entries always put mine to shame. Those tiny hearts are incredible and must have taken forever. This was a fun entry and perfect for Erika's theme at Art Journal Journey, dear Chris.
Beautiful calendar page!
Hug-Elke
