Tea stands for Teacup Lady

I have just realised that my previous post was last Friday, the time has been whizzing for different reasons! I came to write my cards for UK addresses on Sunday and realised that they were nearly all at our caravan! We had intended going last week when we had a phone call to say that we would be best ringing before we went because the electricity was off - the storms had put the whole area out of action and the schools had been closed too!! We had plans for the weekend here at home (including a memorial service and a carol service at church and a meal out with my 'boys')
I had to set to and make some more as by the time we go on Thursday the post will have gone and they won't get posted until Friday at least!
As I was making my cards I also made a journal page using up paint and scraps as I went. I stamped my lovely PA Lynne Perella Teacup Lady onto a scrap too.
A dreadful photo but the best I could do with yet another grey day!!
I would like to join Bluebeard and Elizabeth (and young Squiggles!) for T Stands For  Tuesday.

I would also like to join in with Valerie's choice of theme - Collage and some journaling at Art Journal Journey,

and also Moo Mania and More which is Favourite Stamp or Stamps - if you are a regular visitor here you will have seen Teacup Lady a few times!!!

With a little smattering of snow on my page I would like to remind you that there is still a week left at Try It On Tuesday for our Snow, Snowflakes or Winter White theme.

I realise that many of the Tea gang may be in bed by now but I will try to make most of my visits this evening!

Thanks for looking, Chris

I can't imagine having to redo my cards, but even worse, I can't imagine not being able to get to your caravan due to flooding. I certainly hope there's no damage other than electrical outages. I know you've said you were on high ground, but still!!!!

Your adorable teacup lady made me smile. I guess I've seen her before, but she still makes me smile. Thanks for sharing her and your journal page with us for T this Tuesday. Sorry I'm so late visiting.

great sentiment and I really like this image. I am the first one in front of the TV when there is any British function especially involving the royal family. To tell the truth, I am surprised I have not seen a hat that looks like a tea cup - the good Lord only knows, I have seen a bunch of weird shapes! And that's my thought for the day.
Merry Christmas!!

This is a gorgeous journal page! And to think that you made it from scraps during a card-making session. That's a very good use of your time. Very inspirational, too. Happy T Day!

Well, here I am, late as usual......where does the time slip off to?
Hope everything is ok at your caravan.
I'm not sure if I could...or would...have remade all those cards. But BRAVO to you for doing so and then making this gorgeous journal page too.
Thanks for this weeks visit and the lovely comment.

Love that teacup lady, such a fun page and perfect for T on Tuesday! Shame about the cards, that's the sort of thing that happens to me and then all the early posting for Crimbo goes straight out of the window! Annette
