Winter Blues at TIOT

Hi everyone, for our first topic this year at Try It On Tuesday we are embracing the 'Winter Blues' instead of trying to shake them off!

The Design Team have found such lovely ways to add positive vibes to their inspiration pieces - please take a look here!

I have turned to flowers again.

I used some flowers on a napkin for my main image that I stuck onto a page that has watery distress ink blues on along with some stenciling of some stems and some torn paper. The circles around represent snow and I added a bit of script stamping too!

The words came from a combination of Tim Holtz and a magazine.

We look forward to seeing your entries at TIOT this time - if you need to check the Rules they are here!

Thanks for looking, Chris

Apologies - Got my days mixed up and having been out all day found that I had this post scheduled for tomorrow morning!

This is gorgeous Chris, and it is so nice to see flowers. The blue garden is a great choice since most everyone seems to be making something wintery- me included. :) Hugs-Erika

I love this floral page Chris and we both chose to use blue flowers our minds must have crossed somewhere.
I know I'm Late but I send you and yours my very best wishes for the coming year.

Such a pretty page Chris, lovely blue flowers. Although blue is such a cool colour it always brings me warmth. A very Happy but belated New Year.
Hugs Tracey xx

It’s a lovely page in blue hues. Very refreshing to see something without any snow, there is plenty here outdoors…
