T Stands for.........the mixed bag edition!

Hi everyone! What a strange week it's been weatherise - as I reported at the end of last weeks TFST post we had snow which didn't last very long but with the temperatures being low last week had it lasting till the weekend in places. Please note that when I say low I mean around -3 to 3 degrees C (so around 26F at the lowest) so I know this isn't really cold!

We did get some sunshine but we stayed home most of the time. I did go and spend some time with two of my friends (one of whom is off sick and liked the company)We had a pleasant time doing some mini pages and chatting lots!

Hubby and I started our Wanderlust Classes at the beginning of the month and couldn't wait to get started on this one

We had to feature a main image so hubby opted for drawing an owl and adding leaves instead of flowers.

We attempted a walk at The Carrs on our way to shop Saturday but had to turn back as the route was icy and I worried about falling over.

We went for coffee at Petit Delice in Wilmslow though, and I did a little bit of mini journaling.

As you can see I had nearly polished off the Almond Croissant that I had chosen for a change (our server warmed it up too) and I have enough of my Flat White coffee to join Bleubeard and Elizabeth at T Stands For Tuesday at The Altered Book Lover blog.

Would you like some French sunshine?

Assuming yes - here it is!                                              I took these photos on our last morning in the manoir

Can you see the sun streaming in through the Shower room window?

The bedroom is still work in process as you can see from the plasterboard, but set up so nicely for our stay.                                                             On our way to Le Mans we saw some fabulous skies

We stopped for lunch in Cussac, a quiet little town

The proprietor was very friendly, the food was quite homely but it was here that I had one of the best starters of the holiday.
We passed through Le Blanc ....and I'll show you photos of Le Mans another time.

Thanks for looking,Chris

I like sunshine of every nationality. We sis have a few hours this morning, so nice to feel the warmth through the windows. And an almond croissant, yummy. Have a fun with Wanderlust! Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

I'll be curious to see what you two are doing with Wanderlust classes this year as I didn't sign up for 2024. Did the year get split up into sections like she did last year? I like both your paintings!
Warm scenery is welcome. We are still below freezing and have been for a couple of weeks at least. Supposed to get into the 30s this week. :) Very far from spring up here--lol!
Happy Tuesday. :)

Happy scenes from your trip, but I think even in France this month the weather is dismal. For a change from frozen snow, today we have very cold rain which I fear will freeze when the sun goes down. Nothing possible to do outdoors. Good luck to you and the whole Northern Hemisphere with improvement in this weather.
best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com

The Wanderlust pages look beautiful - I like that both you and your husband do it. That must be a lot of fun.
The sun is shining through the window onto my desk while I'm typing this - a nice break in all the rain (for which I am thankful since winter is the only time that we get some rain). Happy T day!

It's fun to see you and your husband's Wanderlust pages. I love how you both do this together. And oh yes, I will take some French sunshine. It looks so lovely and warm. And that is a really lovely bed too. I bet once it is finished it will be fabulous. That fireplace is really amazing. Can you imagine having a fire on a cold winter night while reading in bed? I hope you had a lovely T day and have a great middle of your week ahead. hugs-Erika

I bet it's fun to craft with friends. I also bet it is fun to make art alongside T. Both spreads are great.

Beautiful poster bed. I am sure the room was actually elegant, even if the place is a WIP.

Your coffee looks a bit darker than I like it, but It looks great regardless. Thanks for sharing youor art, the sunshine, and the coffee with us for T this Tuesday, dear Chris.

I always love how given the same general directions, creativity is different. Love the pages. Thanks for sharing sunny pictures. A lot nicer than the snow covered trees out my window. Happy T Day
