This. IS Spring!

Hi everyone, I've had a tricky few days, along with looking after hubby I got a bout of mild vertigo - all gone now - I have excercises that relieve it ...eventually!

Back to posting again and then to catch up on visiting your blogs!

As I'm hosting Art Journal Journey this month with the theme 'Spring Forward' I would like to show you one of my favourite Spring flowers. When I see these flowering I know that Spring is here!

I always have this old book around and this time I use Alison Bomber's Crocus set from Paper Artsy. The page already had a stenciled background and I stamped most of the stamps in the set.

I used Neocolourll watercolour crayons to colour it.

On our local Green every Spring we get a fantastic show of Crocus flowers.

This was in early February before hubby had his accident _ I drove past the other day and they are all now fully in bloom - I look forward to seeing them every Spring

Thanks for looking, Chris

Beautiful page. the only place I'll see Spring flowers as my area is experiencing a Winter that just doesn't want to end. Enjoy your weekend.

The only spring we'll see here is daylight saving time springing forward. :)

What a fantastic coloring of those early spring flowers. The background turned out great, too, Chris. This is a beautiful entry for your theme at AJJ.

I love this page Chris, and I am with you about crocuses. Sadly there's still too much snow at my house, but that just means I'll be able to see them down the road. Your green must look gorgeous in bloom. And that was great the way you made your page on a book background. I really like that. Happy whatever is left to your weekend. hugs-Erika
