Spring Forward!

 Hi everyone, I'm so pleased to tell you that I am Guest Hosting at Art Journal Journey this month with the theme 'Spring Forward'.

I love Spring and today is the start of meteorological Spring. I still think of Spring as starting on 21st March so that's two days to celebrate, along with Mother's Day (UK)and Easter, May Day is also in Spring and I don't see why it can't feature in March. Best of all the clocks change and this is the reason for my title 'Spring Forward' I am so ready for some lighter nights and hopefully warmer days!

My first page is about looking forward to seeing one of my favourite Spring flowers - the Tulip. 

I used a journal that I used to use years ago - came across it again in a big tidy and I'm loving using it. I stamped a Crafty Individuals tulip/text stamp randomly over the page added the Tulip image(GeckoGalz) and then the Paper Artsy quote from an Alison Bomber(Words and Pictures blog) Spring quotes set. The SPRING letters were a gift from a friend and I finished the page off with some wiggly outlining.

As well as looking forward to seeing more Spring flowers and listening to birdsong I am looking forward to hubby's recovery from a broken leg, by the end of Spring he will hopefully be walking without support, at the moment he's not able to stand for long so that's where I'll be when I'm not here!
