Calendar Journal!

Hi everyone, yes I do know it's little late for this but we seem to have been busier than usual since our return from France, and although I made this at the beginning of the week - just so that I could at least keep up with what's been happening, I am only just getting around to going back in my craft room!

Alison's theme at Art Journal Journey is 'Come Fly With Me' and I have used selection of butterflies for my calendar. I used a fairly easy way of making a background - painted on watered down Paper Artsy Fresco Paint then using a stencil spritzed on some Lavinia ink. The white butterfly image is a Crafty individuals stamp which I heat embossed and the others are Aall and create stamps by Bipasha. 

Here is last months page - I still need to go through my travel journal and finish filling it in.
