No surprises here!

Hi everyone! Our new theme at Try It On Tuesday is Home,Sweet Home/Where would You Like to Live?
I'm sure you will enjoy seeing what the Design Team have for you!

I don't think anyone will be surprised at my journal page.
It just has to be....
Paris!

I made this page before we had to consider cancelling our trip this year! I was thinking about the blossom on the trees in April.

I started by stamping a Carabelle Studio stamp by Azoline with the Eiffel Tower masked off and then added some Stamperia paper with an Eiffel Tower on it.

I wanted to add some Crafty Individuals houses to represent more of the variety of architecture in Paris so I stamped and cut them out.
Next I gave it all an outline of blue and brown DIs by putting them on my mat and picking up with a water brush.

As some of you know I also love the green spaces in Paris so I stamped and cut out the trees on the Azoline stamp to make a little green area by the house (my house!!!) on the left to represent a little park and added some dotty flowers.
The falling blossom is from a Martha Stewart punch.

I hope a lot of you will join us this time with your dreams maybe or will you be 'at home'....I will be ...most of the time it seems...

I will be back later with my TSFT post where I have been out in a lovely garden!

Thanks for looking, Chris

Hi Chris, your dream home is just where I expected you would choose to live. It is a fabulous page. A shame you will have to cancel your holiday, but I'm sure you will be able to get there as soon as you are allowed.

Such a beautiful page! Of course it had to be Paris and I love how you stamped the images and layered everything together with those pretty pink blossoms 😀. It's a shame that you have to cancel your Paris plans, I hope you'll be able to travel there again soon! Take care and sending happy wishes your way! Hugs, Jo x

Wonderful page, Chris. Love the falling blossom :-)
I can quite understand why you'd love to live in Paris... it's a fascinating place and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing. I love it, too, though it's a while since I was there to look around, rather than passing through. I miss that adventure of arriving at 5.00am and wandering the empty streets - well, empty except for those only just going home!
Maybe you'll be able to spend more time there, soon - if we're ever let out of the country, lol. Stay safe!

I love how you created Paris wit all these images Chris. What a great page. And adding the pink spring blossoms-cherry I would guess, makes it only more spring time. Oh too bad there won't be springtime in Paris for people who might have been dreaming of it this year. Stay safe and healthy. Hugs-Erika

No guessing here, Chris. It's fabulous. I love the attention to detail you showed and how much it shows you love Paris. I worry about you going to France. I heard someone say they traveled from France to London to catch a plane to the states, and weren't stopped at the border or tested. PLEASE, please stay safe you two.

Ah, this is what I really hopped over from TIOT to see... and yes, no surprises that Paris is where you want to be. Your page is a delightfully quirky celebration of the architecture of the city - with those whimsical pink blossoms floating above it all. Lovely!
