Colourful fruit!

Hi everyone - we have just returned from our caravan - the wi-fi was hit and miss so I left posting this till we got home!
I found this weird advertisement in a magazine but it seemed perfect for a page for Rike's  'Fruit and Veggies' theme at Art Journal Journey.
I used a torn up piece of mop up paper towel of the background and doodled and stamped on to it.
The ad was for paint in a glossy magazine so I covered the pic with matte medium to reduce the glare(couldn't stop the wrinkles though!)

It is also my AED entry for today
and also my Art Stamps for AED 6,7, 8 and 9 and the Carabelle Studio challenge
Christmas

Funny

Thanks for looking, Chris

That is a cool fruit platter photo. Really nice find for Rike's challenge. And you used it well also. Happy new week Chris. Hugs-Erika

Ah, the joy of using magazine images is they are so diverse. The curse of using magazine images is they wrinkle like crazy once you use any type of glue/adhesive, whether wet or dry. Regardless, this is a fun and enjoyable spread you created using Rike's theme at Art Journal Journey.

I really LOVE your Christmas ATstamp, and of course, the Heart ATstamp. Although they are all great, these two were my favorites today. They both spoke to me.

I am glad I was able to inspire you to SEE this fruit picture in the magazine and USE it for an artjournal page! You made an interesting background in a wonderful blue! All is really WOW!
Thank you for linking again a beautiful piece to my theme at AJJ! Rike

The magazine find that you used on the page looks great Chris, it did need to be used and seen in this way.
Your other art projects looked fantastic as well.
