Having some arty fun!

Hi everyone! Just to let you know that I haven't forgotten you!
We are away at our caravan for a couple of days and the weather has been errr...changeable!
We went to Skipton yesterday to do a little Christmas shopping! A successful mission, but the weather went from rain, to sun to dark clouds and back to rain again! Last night we had one of the windiest night in our caravan.
The fields on the way were flooded...
...and the river that I have often shown you view of looked like this...

This morning, after quite a disturbed night as the wind howled and blew things around the garden, I headed for the Royal Station hotel for a workshop led by Abs(Autour de Mwa)
My lovely friends Sarah and Helen(plus Helen's daughter) drove up and we were lucky to be working on tables close by!
A top up of coffees kept me going!!!
There's someone you might know at the back of Sarah too....see below!
This was my journal as I was working on it!

It got dark quite quickly and while we were in the warm, the weather took a turn for the worse - so much so the Christmas lights outside in the square went off!
Some serious spattering taking place under the glow of a daylight lamp!
I still have some more to do on my cover but here it is so far!

We had the most wonderful day, lots of laughter, lovely food, good company and a great chance to play!
I am going back tomorrow with....did you spot...Neet! Looking forward to another fun day on a different project!!

Thanks for looking! Chris

I was looking over Sarah's other shoulder and missed Neet! I saw her post a pic today of her in PJs .... Love your cover, it looks fab. The weather sounds much worse than down here!
You'll never guess where I went today... oh... you guessed..

I am not sure I would want to be out in that weather, but the lovely journal cover you created was incredible. The colors are rich and chic. Yes, I saw Neet sitting by the window. Super workshop. I look forward to your next one, too.

Hi Chris, great photos of your day. Spotted Neet, how fab is that! I saw her FB photo this morning too. Got very windy here overnight, actually we could feel it gusting on the M42 last night, going to the Genting Arena for WOTW. Love your journal, fab colours. Hugs, Shaz X

That's quite the flood! It can be scary to be out when bad weather causes lights to go out. But that gathering looks like fun with the festive hats and sweaters :)

Real angry weather photos Chris, I imagine the wind was worrying in the caravan.
