I know, not really what you want to see!
I do have something for T Stands for Tuesday where I am joining Bluebeard and Elizabeth for T Stands for Tuesday and my own drink is accompanied by my son's mocha and cake!!!
As you can see the cake had two forks supplied, neither of us wanted a full piece of the peanut butter caramel cheesecake. Hubby, whose knee is just in sight was waiting for his tea and scone with jam and cream!
My drink was a small cappuccino as I was still in New Year mode when we met up at the Vienna Coffee House opposite the Art Gallery in Manchester.
I do have a few photos of our walk at Dunham Massey on the 2nd of January - I have never seen so many people there even in the Summer!
It was a lovely sunny day and we chose to go into the Winter Garden - I must admit I was hoping to see snowdrops or early daffodils as we have other years but there were only these little snowdrops peeping through.
There was plenty of colour though!
….and frost….
…and sunshine.Reflections….
….and shadows...
….and a Valerie kind of shot!!! |
We'll go back in few weeks to see what these turn out like!
Thanked for looking, Chris

ReplyDeleteChris I loved seening the Winter Garden... Those red twigs are really something aren't they?! The wind is whipping here to day... just roaring thru the pines...so much so that it woke me up early so i thought i'd just get started on the Tparty with my cup of coffee this morning... Thank you for taking us on your walk a bout... Happy happy T day! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm late visiting. Shortly after I visited you yesterday, mu old computer had a major meltdown, and I had to reboot it twice in order for it to run again. I was able to visit a couple of people, then it quit working again. I gave up and went to bed. I'll be very, very glad when I get my new computer back.
ReplyDeleteI am still fascinated by those fog photos, as I mentioned before the meltdown. They are lovely.
Your photos from Dunham Massey are beautiful. Wow, there really WERE a lot of people there. I really enjoyed the color, the reflections, and the sunshine.
I have to admit that cheesecake looks incredible. It's making me very hungry. I would gladly join you for a cappuccino, because it looks wonderful.
Thanks for sharing your fog and Dunham Massey photos, as well as your cappuccino and cheesecake with us for T this Tuesday.
Terrific post and pics Chris. The cake and drinks look tempting for sure
ReplyDeleteHappy T day

p.s. I am wondering if you have my email address? LOL
loving all the winter colour! hope you enjoyed the cinema
ReplyDeletethe fog gives your garden a very mysterious glow. i can't believe how green your garden and the Winter garden are. We got some snow over the weekend. Snow drops. We won't see those until August (-; My favorite image is the reflection of the garden in the water. Tea and scones with jam and cream would hit the spot right about now. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteThe cake and the coffee look yummy Chris.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are all great, so many changes in the way we see nature around us as the times and weather changes.
Happy T Day.

Gorgeous photos - even the foggy ones, which you don't like - lol. Thank you for the walk about the Winter Gardens. I've never seen bushes(?)with such red bark. I wonder what they are and what they look like when they're in leaf. Happy T Day, Chris!
