Just waiting....

Hi everyone, I really am hoping that I can find some more time for crafting - I seem to have managed a journal page, but even that was a bit of a struggle!

Here it is...

I have quite a few pages that are partially completed, all I needed here were some words. I had some in mind to use but with trying to reorganise my craft room, very much WIP, I just don't know where they are. These words were accessible and are part of a Paper Artsy set by Lin Brown. They are stamped onto a piece of card as yes, you guessed it, I messed up the stamping on the page. The bird is a Crafty Individuals stamp by Maria Kitano and is stamped in white onto a gelli print background.

The bees are busy making honey so I hope the bird isn't thinking of seeing if bees are tasty!

This page is almost certainly my last for Alison's 'Summer Countryside' theme at Art Journal Journey. I really would like to have made more for this wonderful theme.

It's been great to see what everyone has been making for the theme.

We went to a very disappointing garden with my son and grandchildren yesterday, not only that it was really cold and occasionally wet!

What you see here is a maze - that we weren't allowed to walk on.
I'll show you more on Tuesday.

Thanks for looking, Chris

I love your page, and if the bees are making honey I hope they don't get eaten also. They're going to need it to feed themselves and maybe people too. Sorry your garden visit was disappointing. What fun is seeing a maze if you can't go in? Happy weekend Chris. Hugs-Erika

It's actually a beautiful page. Chris. What a great way to cover up an unwanted quote. I like the colors you chose for the background because it brought the white die cuts to the foreground with a bit of flair. It's a great entry for Alison's theme at Art Journal Journey, too.

It's too bad about the maze. The grounds looked like they were well kept, though.

Fabulous journal page, and lawns you can't walk on sounds very British. When I was a kid in London all of the parks had signs with 'Don't walk on the lawn', which everybody ignored! Have a great weekend, hugs, Valerie

Its a beautiful page Chris and the bird looks lovely. I often would hide a stamp that didn't work this way as well.
Shame about the maze, it makes me wonder why they create then when folk cannot walk them.

Well Chris, your page drew me in from Bloglovin' because I liked it so much. You are very good at composing these pages and this one is lovely. A beautiful atmospheric background, a pretty focal image and lovely linking of the two.
Not sure I understood the maze - is it one that is waiting to grow?
Hugs, Neet xx
