Hi everyone, the time really is running away this year for us! March already, and with Mothering Sunday (also known as Mother's Day) coming up we are thinking about the women in our lives with our new theme at Try It On Tuesday - 'For A Lady'
The Design Team have such a great variety this time - please take a look here!
I made a note card to send to a friend. I used some dotty paper for my background and some napkin tissue on some paper that I had previously sprinkled some metallic powder on and spritzed. I added a little bit of text around the rose.
I hope that you can join us at Try It On Tuesday this time with your feminine art - remember any craft is accepted among as long as it follows the guidelines - as usual the theme runs for two weeks.
Thanks for looking, Chris

I like the dotted background, but I absolutely LOVE that rose.
What a beautiful rose and it made a pretty card! :)
Lovely card. The dotty background reminds me of Dotted Swiss fabric which always reminds me of Spring
What a pretty card Chris. That big rose is beautiful, and the polka dot paper makes this card feel not too formal but still very lovely. Hope March is going well. hugs-Erika

Dear Chris, your flower card "for a lady" turned out delightful. I love the mix of the delicate blossom, the nostalgic font and the cheerful dots.
All the best from Austria, Traude
