A peek into my diary.

Hi everyone, we seem to have been out of the apartment a lot this week for various reasons! A couple of shopping trips( food and new boots) a meal out (with grandson), dealing with health stuff(and my medication changing yet again!)and a nice walk.

I took the photographs a few days ago but never seemed to find the energy to get to the computer.

Today didn't start so great but now feeling much better so here are a few pages for Erika's 'It's On The Calendar' theme at Art Journal Journey.

I usually show you my calendar journal each month but at the same time I also keep a planner diary - nothing fancy, I have used the same Japanese company's diary for at least the last six years. I also have some of the same reminders on my wall calendar in our kitchen

It has a weekly page for keeping dates and a page opposite that I write down a list of things to do and also plan our main meals for the week.

In between I draw, use stickers, washi, scraps and anything else that takes my fancy

November started like this

I had a new leaf stamp to play with and I had also had coffee out!

New tapes arrived from Miso paper and London Gifties so I used the circles from the ends of the tapes to make a little collage (with a few additions of said tapes!)

At the beginning of December it turned cold for a while and I used some washi tape to make a little scene.

Then it was the week of my Birthday and a busy week

Then it was the two weeks up to Christmas Eve and then New Year's Eve

This is how the New Year started

I'll see if I can dig out some of my old planner diaries for another time if you'd like to see them.

Thanks for looking, Chris

  1. What a fun glimpse of your calendar. I like the planner/diary you are using with space for appointments and stuff on the left and a "blank" page for fun stuff.

  3. That was fun! So you got to start a new one again? Yes, it would be fun to see the older ones. :)

  4. I love your 2024 calendar Chris. I like how you have a side with the dates, and a side where you can make art. I had a similar style calendar several years ago and I really liked it. And of course, you have such a nice style decorating it. Thanks so much for joining AJJ. It's much appreciated. hugs-Erika
