Hi everyone, if you read the squares for October you'll have some idea of how busy we've been.
I was hoping for a bit of a let up for November but already have four appointments booked in various places and a day train trip to Birmingham!
I have rushed my calendar page as this is the first day I have had this week to do it. Now I see it I can see missed colouring and poor choice of colours but I do need to start filling it in!
I would also like to join Jo with her 'Nature' theme at Art Journal Journey.
I used a combination of big leaves and delicate berries with some Paper Artsy Stamps (I'm sure you recognise the berries by Alison Bomber of Words and Pictures)
The smaller leaves are by Aall and Create and the animals are washi tape.
Here is October's page
I had my page opened last week and hubby asked me if I had noticed something - I hadn't - I had been using my calendar for the best part of the month with November as the month so I have stamped October onto a piece of orange paper to cover it (Did I mention I have been a bit stressed and fuzzy with my medication issues?)
Thanks for looking, Chris
Your new calendar is loely, I don't know what you're complaining about! I know what you mean with many appointments, I also am always on the way to an doctor or therapist, and I hate losing so much time! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteYou had a very, busy October. Lovely calendar pages. I have lots of appointments this month, too. Have a great weekend
ReplyDeleteThank you Chris for sharing your art with us! Aloha!
ReplyDeleteI like your calendar Chris. I love those leaf stamps. I have them and I now need to dig them out to use this month. :) I hope you find some art time. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteBeautiful calender pages! All the stamped leaves and berries look fabulous - love it ❤️. Take care and hanks so much for the inspiration over at AJJ! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for Tony. Love the amended October page, gorgeous colours.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, your lovely November page is going to be booked up in no time I can see. I just wish it could have had Sizergh on it yesterday when we went up. Perhaps when the health issues are sorted, if its not one of us it's the other.
Take care, Hugs, Neet cx
Wonderful calendar spreads Chris! November is a beauty.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a less busy and stressful November. xx
Wow, dear Chris, your October seems really VERY busy!
ReplyDeleteI think if your November is filled like this, then you will no longer be dissatisfied with your choice of colors, because then everything will be peppered with colorful experiences. You hit the topic of nature well. (I HOPE that these are mostly positive experiences, the trip to Birmingham certainly sounds like it.)
All the best and a cozy November weekend!

PS: Thank you for sharing your experiences with a retirement home. If you have time to look at my current post, you will see a few room plans of one of the residences in my PS. By the way, we don't want to share an apartment with our friends, we just want to move into the same residence (if possible) :-D
Lovely pages.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on

Love your calendars Chris, I do recognise the berries but not the leaves, I will have to look for them as they look great (of course I don't need more stamps but still...)
