Spring in the woods

Hi everyone, I thinking ahead to May when the Bluebells bloom! One of my favourite sights is a carpet of bluebells (I also love to see snowdrops and daffodils en masse)

My page is for

Art Journal Journey and Valerie's 'Spring' theme

I've had the postcard image of bluebells for years - I decided to create a wider view of the wood by tearing it in half and adding some fussy cut Crafty Individuals Bluebells in the middle. The background was made with spritzed Distress oxides over some book page scraps.
I added stamped Scribbly bird, butterflies, trees and labels as well as lots of bits and pieces that I have had on my desk ready for Spring!

When we went to Tatton Park last week we were impressed with the daffodils by the path near the entrance.

The peace was disturbed by aircraft taking off from the nearby airport.

It's only another 5 days to the official start of Spring - hurray!!!
Thanks for looking, Chris

  1. Your spring photos are beautiful, and it looks as if your spring is very advanced, more even than here in Virginia. And in Michigan, which we left Tuesday, it was almost not spring at all.

  7. You really have spring Chris. I am loving the photos of the wood filled with yellow blooms (daffodils I think) and your page feels very much like those photos also. Not daffodils of course. It's a beautiful page and it really welcomes spring. Have a great end of your week. Hugs-Erika
