T Stands for...the pick and mix edition!

Hi everyone, first of all Happy New year to you all!

I really do have a mixture here today!

First is a page made for Erika's 'Let's Face It' theme at Art Journal Journey.

The page is made with AAll and Create's Bipasha's stamps and stencils.

The dog was originally stamped onto the page but didn't show up enough so I restamped onto a piece of paper and then added some stars and colour using the same inks/powders. The Little Rainbow Moon powders were a Christmas present from my friend Sarah - they sparkle in the right light.

I used a Tim Holtz Snarky words sticker

Next some flowers that my son brought for me on my Birthday - just over 3 weeks ago.

They must like the temperature on our balcony!
Next is a view of the shelf in our living room.
I don't know why the little peg is there
Here is our little Christmas tree - I have lights on the window sill too(until Thursday)
Now for T Stands for Tuesday hosted, as always by Bleubeard and Elizabeth at the Altered Book Lover blog.                             As I had to cancel my Birthday lunch when eldest son and SIL got COVID and no one else came up with any ideas for a get together I suggested we meet in Fletcher Moss Park and have food from the Street Food cafe area. As you may know from previous posts it is outdoors. Fortunately it was quite a warm day although it had been raining heavily(see my post here)
We were lucky to find that the area just a few steps away from the cafe area was empty so we set ourselves up there.
A selection of drinks here - hot and cold, mine was a cappuccino
Ex hubby, wife and son on the bench at the back
We had a short walk on the paths that weren't so muddy

Here are the menu boards - a really good selection and everyone was happy with their choices
The mushroom one at the bottom was my choice and it was delicious

One of the drink lists
You can see part of another here - youngest son on the left with the eldest of my Grandsons on the right and my other Grandson with Mum and Dad in the middle

We spotted this New Years Day bride and groom had come to the park for their photos
They were about to have one taken by the puddle - it did have a great reflection.
Finally a little preview of Paris - hopefully I will get back to it next week

Okay, that's enough, I have a cup of coffee going cold - I won't be doing much visiting before Thursday - we are going to take advantage of the sunny day that has been forecast fo tomorrow.

Thanks for looking, Chrisx

ps I will be taking down my cards soon, so hope to get some photos of the beauties I received

  4. I do love your AJJ page today Chris. The blue is really pretty, and what a cute dog. It's a perfect face for AJJ. And it's too bad you had to cancel your birthday lunch, but it is good you could see everyone. And it looks like you had not only a wonderful birthday but Christmas also. I hope it was a happy T day. And thanks so much for sharing this great journal page at AJJ. Much appreciated. Hugs-Erika

  6. Happy New Year Chris! Looks like you had a splendid rescheduled birthday in the park, those menu boards are great, and I see they even had vegan options which is nice - something for everyone! Love your journal page and the flowers and your tree and the lights. I will be taking mine down tomorrow too but it always looks so bare afterwards, doesn't it? I'm tempted to leave all the lights on the mantlepiece. Warm Winter Wishes and Happy T Day Elle/EOTC xx

  12. What a fabulous way to spend your birthday. Such a huge party and such a huge menu to choose from. Bet it was thoroughly enjoyed by one and all.
Pity the poor bride walking around in all that mud with her lovely white dress and, I presume, shoes.
Love your page Chris, that little dog is so cute with his glasses on. (I have the fox but I cannot get a decent image of the glasses, do you have a problem?)
    Happy New Year my dear
    Hugs, Neet xx

  14. Chris, sorry that I missed your post last week. I didn’t post for TSFT. I hope to this week. This was a great post. I would have never thought of posing a wedding photo by a puddle. LOL. Looks like a great area, though. Thanks for posting. Hope to see you soon at TSFT.
