Hello all, just a quick post with a new page for Art Journal Journey and Mia's 'Butterflies' theme.
This in an A5 sketch book. I cut down a card I made ages ago for the main image here, it was made with Crafty Individual stamps. The page background was made by using parts of an Aall and Create stamp, some doodled lines and a repeated stamping of a Cardio flower along with a repeated butterfly (not sure where from) I added and coloured in a quote from Visible Images.I am writing my T Stands For Tuesday post alongside this as yesterday was a very exciting day for me!!
I'll see you all later, Chris
Gorgeous card Chris. Now you've made me curious! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteA beauty of a page, Chris. The card you started with is so pretty. I love the cohesive feel of the whole page. More butterflies are a perfect added page detail. The flourish lines feel like they are created by the flights of the butterflies giving them movement.
ReplyDeleteLovely Sentiment and art!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful page Chris, and I see you used that wonderful new stamp too. I love the wonder background texture too. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeletesuper delightful and magical!
ReplyDeleteI have deleted 2 comments that were advertising. I love reading comments on my blog but object to being used for someone wanting to get free advertising
ReplyDeleteI love your True Colors entry, dear Chris. I think this is a gorgeous entry. I can feel the movement as the butterflies escape onto the journal page. This is a wonderful entry and a perfect addition to Mia's theme at Art Journal Journey.
ReplyDeleteGood for you for deleting those ads. I do the same. And now you have left me hanging wondering what is your exciting news!!
Great page, Chris. I love the idea to recycle an old card and use it as your main image on this page. Lovely color combo too! Hugs, my friend, and thank you for joining my challenge at AJJ.

A beautiful page Chris, a good idea to re-use the card.

That's a pretty page Chris. I like how you used the card and then added images to take away the starkness of the frame, ie the butterfly and the lovely flower. Of course I love the stamps! (LOL)
ReplyDeleteHugs, Neet xx
ps by adverts you have had as comments do you mean Bots? I am inundated by them. Julia explained them to me - they attach themselves to a word you have used. I still don't know what words I am using that attracts them.
Beautiful page, Chris! xoxo
