Hi everyone, things seem to have slowed down a little bit now. We enjoyed a day trip out the other day and took a picnic with us!
We have also completed another Wanderlust lesson and hope to start another tomorrow!
I've been making some journal pages too.
I have been looking through my Dina Wakley books and was inspired to make this page using a couple of the little colleges I made the other week in a Wanderlust class with lots of Dina's products, including the tissue paper that I thought I had lost - it was somewhere safe! While taking my Wanderlust classes I think of Eileen - she had started her classes, but sadly her life ended before she had taken part in many!
Erika and I are co-hosting at Art Journal Journey this month and continuing with Eileen's choice of theme - 'Inspired By'
Thanks for looking, Chris
I love this page. I still haven't cut into my collectives book!! Soon, I will, soon.... have a good Sunday .
ReplyDeleteBeautiful page, glad you are managing to finish your Wanderlust course. Good that you can get out and about again, too. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteDina Wakely certainly offers some great inspiration. I like all the pieces you put together for this collage. Everything blends so well. The words are a great encouragement. How nice to go out for a picnic. I can’t wait for a little warmer weather here.
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolutely STUNNING entry in your art journal, Chris. This is a really great piece and well put together. I absolutely love the beauty of it and the colors, too. Thanks for co-hosting this month at Art Journal Journey and for inspiring all of us with your incredible journal page, too.
ReplyDeleteAnother great page.
ReplyDeleteDina Wakely is always so much fun to watch.
Very nice page, Chris. Glad you had a day out. You know, I knew of Eileen more on another challenge blog (Winter Wonderland) than I did on AJJ, but I went and read her blog the other day. Did not realize she passed in February. Take care, XOX
ReplyDeleteI like this inspired by Dina Wakely page Chris. She has such a super style, and you certainly captured it. I like what you did. This is perfect for AJJ for certain. Happy new week. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI love your Dina inspired page Chris, it's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMy mojo needs a kick, maybe I'll dive into Dina's books again.
Have a lovely week,
Alison xx
I appreciate your collage -- both the nice, subtle colors and the words.

Great page, Chris. Pretty patterns, colors, image, and words. Joan of Arc was inspiring for sure - so brave! Love everything you added here! This inspires me! Hugz
ReplyDeleteBeautiful page! I always think of Eileen too when I see your Wanderlust pages, she would have loved them 😁. The collage pieces and inspirational wording look perfect. Happy wishes! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteWhat a great Dina page this is. So glad you found your tissue and was able to use it. I am still in awe of your hubby doing the classes alongside you. Wish I could get Chas interested, I try now and then but get nowhere.
ReplyDeleteGlad you went out and had a picnic, I think it is about time we did something similar. Will have to check up on whether you still need to book to go to Dunham Massey. Whenever I think of you I think of going there.
Stay safe and keep crafting
Hugs, Neet xx
