Sitting, standing, jumping!

Hi everyone, after yesterday's kerfuffle with Blogger I had a disturbed night, but part of that could have been due to the fact that we had to go to the Health Centre for our Flu jabs this morning and I wasn't sure how safe I would feel!

I needn't have worried, they had a ticket system, open doors and very helpful staff.

Hubby went in to one corridor and as it happened it was my Diabetes nurse who gave me mine in another corridor - she said she hardly recognised me with my weight loss - but it could have been because of my mask!! Smile!!!

We left by a back door - so, a good system in place!

We did get very wet and my raincoat is still hanging in the bathroom. We could have driven but decided that rain or not we would get a walk!

I had better get on with showing you my latest'Hold the Line' pages

I had some fun with my calendar journal but think I will be using this technique on something smaller.

I drew wavy lines across the pages - some of them crossed over - and I used Derwent Inktense crayons and a water brush to colour in.

I added some dots and some Aall and Create Janet Klein figures and dogs and one of Elena Guzinska's happy people, all of them either sitting, standing or jumping on the lines!

Here is last months spread all filled in!

I'd like to add a Thank you for your kind comments and for all of the fabulous pages at Art Journal Journey already added.

I promise I will get to visit soon if I haven't already!

Thanks for looking, Chris

  2. That's an ambitious calendar spread, Chris. I adore it, but I can see how it took you forever to create. You and Alison always put my calendar pages to shame. And of course, thanks for yet another great entry using your theme at Art Journal journey. Love all that color.

  6. So good to hear of you as well as many other people getting flu shots. I hope this will help with general public health for the winter. It’s tragic that some people think they know more than the medical scientists, and thus put the whole population at risk. (I’ve had mine!)

I’ve been suspicious of some of the “live” links from many blogs and other sources that people put on their sidebars. I think that they also sometimes facilitate malware, and jeopardize the entire blog. Sad that there are such baddies out there!
