All Things Bright and Beautiful at SSSMchallenge

I am so honoured to be asked back into the spotlight at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - still pinching myself!
It really is a privilege to be creating alongside the brilliant Design Team this month!

Anyone who reads my blog will know that I have a bit of a 'thing' for flowers and gardens so when I found the topic was 'All Things Bright And Beautiful' I was delighted! We are showcasing Paper Artsy products today so I am even happier - so many flowers to choose from!
My idea came from some stamps gifted to me by my friend Elizabeth which are flowers and meanings stamps.
What if...I choose some modern flowers and come up with some meanings?
This is my cover - using one of those packages - you know the ones! I cut it open and added paint randomly over both sides

Next I added more paint through a Kim Dellow stencil and an Emma Godfrey mini mask

I had a baby wipe mop up left on my desk and it seemed to me to be just the right colours for further decoration
I stamped the larger daisy type flower from Tracy Scott's ETS15 set and fussy cut them!
I want loose pages so I needed something to hold them together - one old scarf to the rescue - it has elastic running through it but had become misshapen so it went into my fabric cabinet.
I cut through to make strip  to tie and ...it works!

Now to the inside...you like these gentle colours on the cover I hope - the inside is somewhat different in parts!
Just a little advice before you see them - you made need to say some of the names quite quickly to get the name!!!
I stamped a lot of images and took them away with me(along with some selected paints, pencils and inks.
Using JOFY stencil and stamps
I've had this inky book page for a while - another JOFY stamp with a repositioned stem. Used a distress marker on the cut edges of some of the flowers.

This is a Tracy Scott stamp - again with a repositioned stem.
I used a piece of mop up paper towel - you will see what I mopped up on the final page. I stamped over the bottom to add a little more interest.
More JOFY stencilling and stamping and a bit of spatter!
Distress Oxides were put onto an acrylic block and spritzed before pressing and dragging on my page - a little bit of spatter at the top and this time I stamped the JOFY stem where I wanted it before adding the fussy cut flower.
These Kim Dellow flowers always remind me of Lego - I used an old piece of painty baby wipe to mount them - the stems were stamped and the fussy cut flowers were added.

Elena Zinski's flowers are such fun to use and this was just cut out and stuck onto a Distress Ink background. Some Darcy leaves from one of her older sets  were added and coloured with distress markers

I made my background with some Infusions powders. The Elena Zinski flowers were fussy cut - the holes were a bit tricky but I managed it!
I hope you like this little fun book - I enjoyed it so much I added another sheet of watercolour paper so that I had some spare at the back to continue with one day...when I have thought up more names and meanings!!!!
