I didn't really intend this tag to be pink - I had thought it through and was going to use some neutral colours, maybe with a touch of lilac but, with the Kraft tag in front of me I reached for a white Amsterdam paint and a Dina Wakely pink which I scraped over the tag trying to spread it thinly to show some of the brown through.
I then added some crackle paste through a stencil and added more stencilling using paint.
Next some stamping using a couple of Tim Holtz stamps.
Next I used three colours of Amsterdam paints and a coffee stirrer to make a random pattern on some white card.
I die cut two hearts from this.
I added some pink around the hearts and mounted my 'honeymoon' couple onto blue inked card. Added the chit chat stickers and some black soot DI around the edge of the tag and finally some pink, blue and white ribbon!
Of course, while working with the Paris stamps I thought back to our holiday last September where we only saw the Eiffel Tower in the distance this time!
