I started to review my blogging year but realised that it wasn't all going to fit into one post so first of all a very quick catch up from July onwards!
We started the month at our caravan and walked along the shore at Arnside.
Elizabeth was hosting at AJJ with her Summertime Love theme and my journal pages were all entries for that.
Theses were two of my favourites
I also made some birthday cards and some tags
The bees were loving my overgrown mint plant..
By the time August came I was a little busy…two trips to prepare for, so much of my crafting time was taken with getting ahead with projects for scheduled DT posts
I did make some journal pages though..
..for Jo's Poetry In Motion theme at AJJ
..and we had some day trips out..
..to Dunham Massey..
and Furness Abbey.Hubby booked a trip away for our Anniversary too!
I also made a little book, which I keep on display at home
September came at last..we were off to France!
The scheduled posts came up..
..and I managed to show some of our photos of our trip via my phone!
Most of October blog posts were about our trip, and I still have more..if you would like to see them!
I did manage some that weren't...
..but I was preparing for my month of hosting at AJJ in November!
I can't remember how many pages I made but it was quite a few…these are some of my favourites
We did manage an outing too, where I saw a whole field of my favourite sheep - Herdwicks (yes,I really do recognise quite a few breeds of sheep)
December, well of course it was Christmas cards, the 12 tags of Christmas Challenge, which I completed just in time(I made Christmas Cards)and my birthday I will show you photos of the scenes at
Dunham, which you can compare here and earlier in this post if you wish!
I am going to show you a new photo for T Stands For Tuesday so I have my fingers crossed!
We went to the cinema last Friday to see the new version of Jumanji!
Before we went, we met our grandchildren and my son for a quick lunch at Proper Tea(the place we like by the cathedral)I have never seen it so busy!
Grandson and I both chose cheese and ham croissant, my drink was, of course, an Americano while he had a coke!
As for the film, most of us enjoyed it! There are some very funny one liners! It is nothing like the original Jumanji though!
Thanks for looking, Chris
Happy 2018 to you too, dear Chris. I really love your retrospective and it is perfect for a second look on the 2nd, too. Every photo brought back memories for me, too. You and T are so lucky to be able to travel so much.

Happy New Year! I enjoyed looking back with you with all the wonderful art and lovely memories from 2017 that you createdπ. That ham and cheese croissant looks so yummy, and even though I've had my breakfast I'm now craving one, maybe lunch but I'd need to go shopping first ...lol π. Wishing you a happy and creative 2018 and sending you much happiness this T Day! J π
ReplyDeletewhat a fun review Chris! Must go back and visit part one now too. Lovely art, and what a great year of outings and trips and celebrations you've had. Wishing you more of the same this year. Happy T day and a happy New Year too!
ReplyDeleteHappy 2018 Chris. It was a super look through some of your past year's posts.
ReplyDeleteThe sandwich looked yummy, glad you enjoyed the film.
Happy T day wishes.

Lots of memories! I wouldn't want to go back and look this year...not ready to see Karma again. Not yet. But Annie is working her way into my heart, for sure. Happy 2018! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been enjoying the remembrances of the past year that folks are posting. I remember the first Jumanji film but haven't seen this new one. I'm glad you liked it; I'll keep it in mind. It's so cold here I'm not wanting to get out, but that won't last :)
ReplyDeleteYour food looks tasty. Happy T Tuesday!
lovely post nice to have happy memories and nice food
ReplyDeleteChris THANKS for the look back..Wow! You've had a busy year full of crafty loveliness... I so loved the original Jumanji that i don't know if i care to see the new one.. huge fan of Robin . The last movie we've gone to is Star Wars the Last Jedi.. We really liked it.. Though i've been a StarWars fan since childhood... Sad to see the original actors so old and to know that Princess Leia is really passed away.. But a good movie nonetheless .. Happy T day Chris and wishing you a artfilled .. crafty New Year! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteDespite all your travels, you created a lot of art the 2nd half of 2017, Chris! I missed a bunch of these the 1st time around. The friends and turkey trot pages made me smile ear to ear. I love the “Thanks” card and wonder how you colored the grid squares. They’re really eye catching. Maybe they’re punched out – hmm – anyway, I love ‘em.
ReplyDeleteYes please, I’d love to see more photos of your Paris trip π
We haven’t seen the new Jumanji but love the original with the great Robin Williams. So I'm glad they made this one very different.
Happy New Year and Happy T-Day. Hugs, Eileen
