Hi everyone, we are back from our time at our caravan. This time we met up with friends who have a lodge up in the Lake District - it only took us 40 minutes to get there and we spent a lovely day together!
I hope that you are all prepared for the cold weather that has been forecast, maybe the colours I have used here will remind you to keep your winter woollies to hand!
I don't send nearly as many Thank You cards as I used to - I usually send a text message these days but one of the people who gave me a gift this Christmas definitely doesn't text! For once I'm keeping it (fairly) simple!
I used my round mini gelli plate as a stamp and then stamped a freebie stamp in the centre.
I drew around the circle and added different coloured stickles to the image.
We are all set for a busy week (starting today) with appointments and a funeral attend so I will be attempting tp get ahead with blogging…we'll see!

Have a good start into the new week ahead!
So simple yet so effective (and not simple as you still had to work out what to do and how to do it.
ReplyDeleteHand-written and hand-made thank-you cards are prized, I know, as I had two after Christmas which were most welcome.
That's a super background for the stamp you used. A wonderful thank you card Chris.

I always love seeing your cards, because they are mailable. This is a beautiful card, even though you consider it simple. I have a big Gelli plate and don't care for it. Looks like your stamping prowess extends to the Gelli, too. What a great way to use it.
ReplyDeleteWould love to join you in the Lake District. It sounds like a great outing.

That is such a pretty thank you card! Love it! I am one of those who still sends thank you cards. Just can't bring myself to send an email or an ecard. Still send an "official" in-the-mail thank you even if I had emailed them to let them know it arrived and I was thrilled--LOL!
