I think my subconscious has been affected by the flowers around at the moment - something I only noticed yesterday properly when we went for a walk at Styall Mill before going shopping!
I only had my phone with me and I am quite impressed with the camera on it!
Of course there were other beauties too!I'll save those for another day!
The lady walking on the left getting into the spirit of my post!
To top it all here is the sunset at our caravan last weekend
So, do I have another pink page - of course!
Distress oxides, infusions, crackle paste, stencils, stamps, some chocolate paper from some we bought in Paris and a flower cut from this book…
...with wonderful black and white illustrations….that I bought for a pound at the RSPB a few weeks ago.
I hope this is elegant enough to join Gill with her fabulous theme Elegance and Grunge at Art Journal Journey.
Thanks for looking,
If you are wondering what colour my next page might be…it won't be pink!
Pink is a nice colour and very much present at this time of year. Thanks for sharing the gorgeous photos and your pretty journal page is stunning. I'm wearing something pink today but you can't see it and I'm not saying more! Hugs Valerie

You certainly have PINK on the brain. I'm truly impressed with the page you created, as well as the book you got for a pound (sorry, my keyboard doesn't have one of those L thingies). I love that the flowers are in B & W. That means you can color them anything you choose.
ReplyDeleteI adore the way you transitioned to your walk, too. Golly, your phone camera is superb. I'm truly impressed. It almost makes me want to invest in one. Of course, then I would have to pay the phone charge, and I'm the Queen of Free.
I think your Manchester image is wonderful!!!
Love the page you created Chris, the pink flowers are gorgeous. I also love your beautiful photos of Styal Mill, haven't been there for years - glad to see the gardens are still thriving! The sunset is stunning! Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteI love all that pink in art and photos. And great Manchester heart too.
ReplyDeleteYour page is gorgeous Chris - thanks for joining in at AJJ with this.
ReplyDeleteI zoomed in and saw the lovely textures on your lovely grungy background.
And your quote is lovely and you certainly have captured beautiful moments with your gorgeous flower photos.
