I have use my new AALL and Create Tracy Evans stamps to create a journal page as you can see my pink phase is over..or is it???
I stamped the bird on a piece of scrap water colour paper that had some blotted paint on it. As I was about to add it to my page (ink, stencils, stamps(also AALL and Create by Autour de Mwa) I noticed that my underpaper would fit here nicely so I tore some off. I had been testing one of my own carved stamps so added some more of those around the edges!Just in time I think to link to Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Little Critters and also to remind you that there is still just over a week to join in with 'Feathered Friends' at TIOT
As this is Grungy I can still link to Art Journal Journey for Gill's Theme of Elegance and/or Grunge.
Thanks for looking, Chrisx
Gorgeous page, I am sure you will soon let some pink sneak in again. Have a fun weekend, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteWow--- another fantastic page Chris ! You are in a flow and surpass yourself.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to see it linked to AJJ again!

Happy Saturday!

great page!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely page Chris, I love the blues! Lovely to see Tracy's amazing stamp set being used too (must ink mine up...) - and how clever are you - carving your own stamp, it looks amazing! Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate your latest color choice. It's better than the pink phase you were in for awhile.
ReplyDeleteI found an entire package of PINK printer/copier paper (500 sheets) the other day when I was cleaning, so I now have pink paper running out my ears. I'm thinking of making a PINK shabby journal. Gotta get rid of that paper someway (grin).
Your journal page is quite clever and I really, really like it.
Great page! So clever of you to have carved your own stamps too, I really like the design 😀. Wishing you a Happy Weekend! J 😊
ReplyDeleteI love how you have used your Tracy stamps and this done all in blue looks fantastic. Happy Sunday xxx
ReplyDeleteA terrific page and the blue is very cooling for this hot day
ReplyDeleteLove Chrissie xx
Cool page Chris - loving this! and your own carved stamps around the edges are great.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for linking to AJJ.
I've got some blocks to carve but not really done much other practise on a small bit.
Hope you're having a nice weekend.
Look like another hot and humid day here on the Essex coast - not sure if thunder and rain predicted
again - yesterday it was over very quick and back to sunny and being hot -phew!
Gill xx
What a joyful blue bird. :) Erika
