Now you can see what really happened…
..and imagine what I might get up to this month!
As you can see - in my planner pages I use mainly stickers, magazine cut outs and tapes, although I am trying to improve my drawing and lettering skills too!
In my Calendar Journal I tend to rely on stamps and stencils - as you can see I have added some flowers to my February page - my own hand carved stamp.
For March I have sprinkled some PA Infusions through a PA stencil - I used the stencil as a stamp then to use up the infusions and drew in some leaves over some of the splodges!
I am also joining Bluebeard and Elizabeth for a 'Second look on the 2nd'
This is from March 2013 and I am still experimenting!

Research - Ha! Ha!
I had this unfinished page for ages and didn't have a clue where it was going - then I found this quote in a book I picked up in book shop!(Didn't buy the book but remembered the quote)
As you can see - it had washi tape over parts of it but it just didn't look right. A lot of this page has been painted out but I'm quite happy with it now - after all, it's research right?

Thanks for looking, we are heading for the 'Land of Little Connection' so I will get to you when I can! I promise to try to remember to take some photos! Chris
Happy second on the Second dear Chris! Great planner pages and a lovely review piece!

Happy second on the 2nd-I enjoy seeing your journal pages.
ReplyDeleteHave an awesome day Kathy
Great calendar pages - March is stunning! - and anything goes in research. I think it's reached a very good place - there's something really exciting about the silhouette and that fab sequin waste pattern.

Sometimes we have to look back in order to see how far we have come.

Once again, you have put my paltry calendar pages to shame with your beautiful ones. They are always lovely, whether you use stamps or stickers. I've always been in awe of your calendar pages.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember this post, but I love the page and the quote, too. I'm simply thrilled you brought it back for us to enjoy. I may have to steal (OOPS) borrow that quote. Thanks for sharing this as your second look on the second.
Lots of loveliness on show today, your calendar pages are great, too - you keep busy! Love the great quote, I think I might borrow it too! Happy 2nd on the 2nd, hugs, Valerie
