As you know I like to get 'Out and About' and I also love watching birds - especially at the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss.
The new Challenge at Art Journal Journey has been chosen by Yvonne of 'Meggy's Way' blog and just happens to be 'Out and About'! Not only that - Stamps and Stencils are singing 'Chirpy, Chirpy, Cheep Cheep' although my birds would have a job singing that I think.
I used a stencil and PA Infusions(Blue Blood and Emerald Isle) through a Stencil Girl stencil to make the background.
I added some Distress ink over the top to darken the sky.
I stamped some grasses - Inkylicious and then stamped and cut out two geese (Stamping Up) I stamped another goose to make a mask so that I could stamp the grasses around the feet. Now, I hope you can see them, I used Watering can archival ink to stamp three more geese before sticking the others on! Why? Well we often drive past a field close to Leighton Moss that always has loads of geese in and while I wanted the pair of geese in I also wanted to give an impression of the other geese around!
Hoping to see them today!
Thanks for looking, Chris
