T stands for……..the real sort out!

Having sorted through my scraps - which I must admit was enjoyable it's now time to get down to it and REALLY sort out my room! At the minute my desk is piled high, the floor is littered with boxes and bags and I am trying to be ruthless!

We haven't been out much, although we did take our eldest son out for coffee before a visit to Creative Recycling. He has plans on setting up his workshop to use recycled materials to create some art, as hoped he was inspired by the visit.
As for the drinks we had…I forgot to take a photo so I have taken a photo of our Winter mugs,(the Christmas ones have been put away)for a visit to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's for T Stands For Tuesday

This was taken at 4p.m. this afternoon and it was already quite dark as we have had another of those grey days!I used my phone camera as it has a torch on it too so I could get a reasonable photo!
As we are here for
I thought you might like to see this that I found in a magazine a while ago.
I think it was advertising a kettle maybe as there are similar advertisements for other appliances, but I had only cut off the bottom of the page! I think this goes for my own preferred mug of coffee too!

I am hoping that now I have made a good start it won't be long before my desk is clear enough to play again!

So far our internet connection seems to be holding on so I should be able to visit more easily!

Thanks for looking, Chris

  1. I love your mugs-and oh that is a weakness of mine. But I am also trying to purge and all so -I must say no-well, unless....
    Happy T day!

  2. It was good to read that they may have actually got your internet connection fixed.

LOVED the mugs, including the night watchman. That was adorable.

I've been sorting, but haven't started purging yet. I keep finding things I want to make, so I keep saving everything. Of course, I suspect my craft room is marginally neater than yours sounds.

Thanks for sharing your mugs and that cool sign you cut from an ad with us for T this Tuesday. I look forward to seeing what your son makes from recycled materials, too.

Happy T-DAY- both of your cups are just lovely! Happy sorting out! I do it as well - always good when we do it - we find so many older, forgotten unfinished projects and have new ideas!

  6. Happy T Day Chris

Good Luck to your son I would have loved to do that as a business when I was younger. The trouble is you keep so much stuff every corner of the place is full of things with great ideas and intentions and not enough years to do it all.

    The mugs are wonderful

    Love Chrissie xx

  8. No what you mean about tackling the craft room -- I have been tackling our whole house. It sounds like most of us have the same problem -- too much stuff! I keep trying to get rid of things but it is sooooo hard!

  15. Those mugs would find a happy home here :) I'm a sucker for a good mug and somehow can always find room for more.

It's great how the image could be so easily separated from the ad. What a great picture! Happy T Tuesday :)

  16. Cleaning out your stahs feels so good - especially when it's finished and you know where everything is. At least for a little while when the stash grows again. Sometimes I feel like Sisyphus pushing that boulder up the hill every day - lol. Lovely mugs and that advert is really cool!
Happy T Day, Chris! XOX Eileen
