Trees are Green at Try It On Tuesday...

…or are they! Our new challenge at Try It On Tuesday starts today and is 'Trees are green…or any other colour!'
The Design team have such a wonderful collection of trees for you to see so I do hope you will take a look here.

I have used a Woodware stamp that I bought last year in a sale.
I stamped two trees using Brushed Corduroy then used the stamp without re-inking for the middle tree

You may know that I like to keep most of my Christmas cards flat for posting so I have this to add to my pile all ready for the end of the month.
I inked a script stamp with Watermelon Adirondack ink - no longer on sale sadly. I also spattered some onto the top of the trees as well as inking the edge of the card

The sentiment and the trees were double mounted.

We hope to see which colour trees you prefer - any kind of project is  welcome as long as you follow the rules here!

Thanks for looking, Chrisx

  4. Right now my trees are still green, but soon they will completely shed all their leaves. We are headed for a cold spell either today or tomorrow.

Your trees are really unique. I like the double matting, too.
