Hi everyone, short and sweet today as I have an awful bug picked up in Paris on our last day.
My Butterfly card uses colours from a mood board…..
…..which as you can see has the most wonderful Spring colours!
Just to see this cheers me up!
My card started by my smooshing some ink onto the corner of some watercolour paper and then stamping using my Inktense blocks and spritzing. I then stamped the Indigoblu butterfly and added more colour!
I hope you will take a look at the fabulous examples the Try It On Tuesday Design Team have made and be inspired to join in!
Hope all this makes sense!
Sorry there is no other Paris news my photos are still in my camera
Thanks for looking, Chris

Oh dear! I am so, so sorry you are sick. I feel for you because a spring bug is far worse than a winter one, I believe.
ReplyDeleteI was SO impressed with that stamping technique. The butterfly turned out great and the entire card was FANTASTIC. This is wonderful, especially since you have been so sick.
Chris
ReplyDeleteSorry you are feeling under the weather.
Such a gorgeous card, love the way the butterfly looks as though it has alighted there for a brief moment, only for it to be swept off in a breeze and what also is inspirational, your amazing hand lettering skills.
Take Care

ReplyDeleteGolly - I'm so far behind that I didn't even know you'd been to Paris - but I'm sorry to hear you got ill. I suppose at least it wasn't on the first day.
ReplyDeleteI love the soft watercolour stamping of the butterfly and the lettering of the greeting is delightful. Hope you feel better soon, and I look forward to some Paris photos soon.
