We had a fantastic few days at our caravan and while we did get get some gardening done there is still quite a lot of tidying to be done!
I didn't have much crafting time but did take my journal so I have a page to show you.
This started off as some mopped up paints from my mat - dabbed
dry-ish then pressed again onto the drips!
I started to doodle around the shape top right and saw a flower appearing but nothing like any flower I know, so then drew in some fantasy seed heads too! A bit of doodling around and about and coloured in with my Inktense blocks and water brush.
This morning I added the Artistic Stamper quote and some butterflies from their Insects and Butterflies set, coloured in with sparkly gel pens.
We had some lovely sunsets while we were away too
and the inside of my glass door looked like this

So glad you found a few minutes to enjoy a bit of art and journaling while you were at the caravan. Loved how you went with a mop-up in the beginning.
ReplyDeleteHope your blood test comes back in whatever way you want it to. Sorry, I know nothing about these, so if I say positive, I might mean negative, or I might mean neutral. Whatever "good" score is what I'm hoping for. Of course, I hope that all made sense to you.
Loved the sunsets. Looked like they were created just for you and your camera.
the journal page is beautiful, and the sunsets were stunning! hope the blood sugar level is ok! enjoy your next trip!!

ReplyDeleteYou have drawn in some wonderful imaginary flowers and foliage Chris and it's wonderful that they just appeared in the way they did. (quite spooky as I have been looking at some paintings similar to this today and have started to plan a similar piece of my own for my journal). Thanks for joining me again at my Visual Journey and sharing yours with me, I am so enjoying seeing how your pages come together.
