My Journal page I am linking to Brenda's blog party - A Visual Journey at Bumblebees and Butterflies. a just for fun link to share journal pages with others. If you do hop over, and I hope you will, Brenda's blog is always worth a look through and for those of you in the States - she's on her way and she has prepared a travel journal!
I love a certain company's random background stamps but wondered if I could combine some of my background stamps to achieve a similar effect - I am quite pleased with the results. Most of the stamps are Kaisercraft or Artistic Stamper. I added a cut out of Darcy's flower coloured with Distress markers. Two words from the Artistic Stamper finished it.
I am also linking to Elizabeth and Bleubeard's blog for her Tuesday tea party.
We have bought ourselves a present for the caravan - my son has a fancier one, but ours was a bargain - normally on sale for about £90 we got ours for £36 and it came with £20 worth of vouchers for coffee capsules for the machine!! Bargain we think!!!
I forgot and stirred out the lovely layers before I took a photo but the coffee is delicious!
Now, Elizabeth, you have been asking for these for a while….
the plants on our decking last year |
The view from where the car stands |
Our little kitchen area |
Our seating to watch TV, read etc... |
I'm off for a haircut this afternoon and I will get to see my youngest grandson too.
Thanks for looking and I'll be round later, Chris
Chris, your link goes to last week's WOYWW. I can't delete it (I tried), so maybe you could relink. Your new coffee maker is a dream. Quite the beauty and great price, too. The coffee looks yummy, too.
ReplyDeleteSo that's what you in Britain call a caravan. Here in the states, it's called a mobile home. Yours is permanent, while some are not. Thanks for sharing it with us. I enjoyed the look around.
Thanks for joining us for T this Tuesday with your great new coffee maker and photos of your caravan.
Your home away from home has a great view Chris. Fab price on your coffee maker, congrats on that alone lol!
ReplyDeleteYour home made stamps are amazing and stamp really well:-) xxx
HI Chris, great journal page, the flowers look stunning against the background.
ReplyDeleteCoffee looks good.

FANTASTIC journal page Chris!! Interesting to find you call a mobile home a caravan. Actually most of the ones, here in the States, that are permanent are called "modular homes".(Politically correct and all)................all the same really.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the deck around yours and all the pots of flowers. Since we drag our "trailer" along behind the truck, and are so mobile I don't get a deck...........................but I do get a different view with each trip......LOL
Thanks for sharing.
Happy T-day
Gorgeous page Chris, love the black and white with a pop of red xx
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your plants. Our outside space is limited, and it's fun to see what other people do with pots. :) Thanks for sharing the photos.
ReplyDeleteYour page is gorgeous, I love the 'industrial' look stamping in the background and the flowers are beautiful. Great coffee maker too, I wish we had got ours at such a knockdown price! Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeletegorgeous journal page Chris! Your sitting area looks so comfy and I could just picture having a cup of that delicious brew while sitting there:) Thanks for sharing and happy T day!
ReplyDeleteHi Chris! I love the journal page--the colorful flower just pops off the page! Great buy on the coffee maker. It was interesting to see your caravan--so cozy and what a great deck with all the beautiful flowers! Ah, you make me yearn for spring!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful journal page Chris, love the background for beautiful flowers.

The term 'caravan' always makes me think of a gypsy wagon...hope that's not offensive or anything! Your home is lovely, and I am envying the green space and flowers right about now. Here in my area of the US it's cold, wet, and snowy! Lovely journal page, and your coffee looks quite delicious. thanks for sharing! happy T day!
ReplyDeleteLove your Journal page :) I really need to start working in my art journal again. Your flowers are lovely and make me even more eager for warm breezes and sunshine . It's very cold here today with another winter storm forecast for tomorrow. Not too many more of these to come this year and they only last a day or two before they are melted away :)
ReplyDeleteLove your page Chris, the pop of pink is just fabulous against the blacks! Beautiful deck on your house and looks like a huge back yard, lucky you!! I live in a highrise, no yard to speak of, but then, no lawnmower either, so pros and cons! hugs :)
ReplyDeleteGreat journal page and so much fun to see where you live. Part of what I enjoy about blogging is seeing photos of other parts of the world.

Love the journal page!! Happy T day...a couple days late. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful page - you've layered up those background stamps to perfection, and the flower is gorgeous. You definitely got a bargain in the coffee maker - I'm a little envious - and I love all the pictures of the outside of the caravan - thanks for indulging Elizabeth and the rest of us.
