WOYWW 615

Our host Julia of the Stamping Ground has an excellent tip for making sure Glossy Accents work every time - just in time for me as I plan on using lots over the next few days!

I don't manage to get here very often and there's not a great deal to see on my desk at the moment.

I do still have the regulation 12 x 12 space to work in...

..as you can see by the papers I am cutting into at the moment. I am determined to use some of my papers up by the end of this year!

If you want to have a little look around you will see that the shrink plastic is out too...ooer missus!

I'm still slightly swamped with glue pots too!

Hoping to have more time to visit this week!

Thanks for looking, Chris

  7. Got to find out about that idea for glossy accents! I stopped buying it a long time ago because after a couple of uses it had set hard and I had to throw the bottle away! - Pam

  15. You have some pretty papers on your desk! Using up papers is one of my goals this year too, I wonder why we buy them and never use them ...lol 😉. Wishing you a happy Friday and weekend! Hugs, Jo x

  16. Lovely papers and Glossy Accsents!? Every bottle I've ever bought over the years...not many bottles come to think of it, but, anyway, every bottle has gone gluppy and unuseable, I've never emptied a bottle once! Wasn't Oliver Cromwell the one who stopped Christmas!? love the pictures of the deer! Stay Safe! Keep crafting. Happy LATE WOYWW ((Lyn)) #19

  17. Hi Chris, well, people always compliment me on papering/decorating all the surfaces of my cards and honestly it's to try to use up my paper! Which I'll never do but at least I make some kind of dent. Gluepots galore? I'd guess you can't find one that lacks something wrong with it. I have so many brands and none of them are a go-to for me except one they don't make anymore: KI Memories Glu (which I swear is what Glossy Accents is but the Glu bottle doesn't clog). I'm not even going to think about shrink plastic, never got into it and hopefully never will. Have a good one, xoxo

  18. Well done with your plans for your papers, Chris. When Mum died I made an album about her life and decided to use up a lot of old papers I had, which I really disliked - I'd bought them in a rash moment when I first started. I added loads of inks to them and changed them, and ended up liking them a lot! I've also done a bit with shrink plastic which I love, but haven't touched that for a number of years. Once I get back in the studio, after I've finished my various yarn-based projects, I shall have fun getting those things out again and having a great time playing.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  19. Hello Chris, nice to see you! 12 x 12 - I thought the regulation size was 6" x 6". I made some cards the other day and I used scraps inside and on the envelope, and I lined the envelope. Anything to use up this huge stash!! At least I don't feel compelled to buy as much paper these days. Now I wonder what you aer up to with shrink plastic? Haven't had mine out in ages!! Good luck with those projects! Happy belated WOYWW Cindy #22
