T Stands For...time passing...

I can hardly believe a week has gone so quickly and here it is T day again!
What have I been doing?
Well, we've both been sorting out stuff (including clothes that are too big for us now)and taking it to the charity shop.

We have had a lovely meal out at famous TV chef James Martin's restaurant(using a voucher that I got for my 70th last year)
It was delicious and a lovely warm evening - the restaurant is accessed by going through a casino so no children allowed.
We were brought water to drink and I also had a Tonic water but as I was trying to avoid getting another diner's face in I couldn't include it!
We both chose hake as our first course and then...
..mushroom risotto - the signature dish we were told! We chose a broccoli dish to go with it - charred with soya and sesame seeds - I am going to try this at home!
Both delicious..but then I opted for banana cake with peanut and chocolate ice-cream....

...and hubby had a chocolate dessert(with more sugar!)
I wondered what my sugar levels might be like so I tested at bedtime and they were only a little higher than usual!!!
We also went to see 'The Shape Of Water' at the cinema - quite a strange film but we both enjoyed it - the music had a lot to do with that!
Then we went off to our caravan - decking to be painted, weeding to be done, new plants and old to be potted - re-potted!
We got it almost all done as we had a blip when we ran out of green paint and couldn't buy any more - all sorted now and we can finish it next time!

As you can see, I leave quite a few wild flowers growing - the bees love them!

You can just see my driftwood and pebbles collected from Morecambe beach - hubby's arrangement this time!
Once home again I had both my Simon Says Stamp Monday(here) and Try It on Tuesday(here) projects to post.
Then it was off to the gym this morning!
Oh! and I made a journal page mainly inspired by the words included on a new Paper Artsy stamp set by Darcy Wilkinson that I bought pre- release, and sworn to secrecy until this week - there are lots to mix up and make your own stories!

Of course I am linking the journal page to Gill's 'Inspired By' theme at Art Journal Journey.

Most of all though I am joining the T gang at Bleubeard and Elizabeth's place!
So...what next? Well, Holby City is on TV and then I can make some visits(I already started today with some!)

Thanks for looking, Chris

You have been SO busy indeed Chris!! What a lovely looking dinner. We so rarely go to movies anymore so I really don't know anything about what's out and playing now.
Your grounds and garden area are looking so pretty and what relaxing views too. How cool to get preorder stamps to play with- love your journal page! And congrats on hosting the SSMonday Challenge this month! Happy T day!

I've never heard of James Martin, but the food looks so pretty. I'm sure it was delicious :) I loved The Shape of Water! Driftwood makes the perfect addition to an arrangement, I think. That scenery is striking!

Happy T Tuesday

Your meal in James Martin's restaurant looks delicious.
I have a number of his Saturday morning programs recorded, it could be winter before we catch up on them.
I loved the photos of the fells around the caravan and your garden looks so pretty and restful.
A fabulous journal page, I think I feel the need to look for those fun stamps,
you were lucky to get them before they were released.

Although all of us who live in the states have said what a beautiful meal you had, I have to admit, now I know why we in the States are mostly overweight. The food looked delicious, but the portions were so TINY compared to what we are used to, even in very high end restaurants, like that one. Thanks for sharing this incredible meal and water with us for T this Tuesday, dear friend.

I saw the release of those stamps on Darcy's blog today. It was good to see her posting again. Her stamps are SO unusual and quirky, just like your page. Its great that you honored her latest stamps and created such a whimsical entry at Art Journal Journey, too.
