Really..it is green!!
Earlier this week we decided to take some things to the charity shop(again) and have a little walk - we went past the houses and came to one of my favourite places to walk locally - we usually walk from the other end so we got an entirely different view of it!
Some of the plants were really tall!
The lower path is quite overgrown
Despite being so close to the motorway the birds were singing all around!
Nettles may have a sting but they also have delicate little flowers
Almost to the road..
...and I turned round to take this - men are digging up the top end near the road - I hope we still have Bluebells next year !
I was inspired to make a quick page - it started with the base you can see of some paint mop up through stencil - over this I stuck some torn GREEN paper, which is showing as yellow here - we were expecting rain as I took the photo and now it is in full pelt down mode!
I used my favourite Carabelle Studio leaves by Brigit Koopsen and added some dotty/spotty stamps using different greens. The quote I used is from a set that was possibly a freebie - I stamped the leaves a couple more times! One of the quickest pages I have made for a while but so relaxing!!
I am joining Gill at Art Journal Journey where she has chosen the fantastic theme - 'Inspired by'!
Thanks so much for looking, I may be absent for a little while.....we'll see, Chris

A peaceful path to enjoy and I love your page inspired by your walk there. Amazing colours and images! You never cease to amaze me with your designs Chris!
Happy week my friend - wheresoever you spend it!
Thank you very much for yet another fantastic entry linked to Gill's >Inspired by< theme Chris!
Much appreciated!
Hugs, Susi
That is a gorgeous journal page Chris and your walk looks right up my alley. Or should I say trail? Hee-hee. The wood is so pretty and the shade is always nice from the seasons warmth. I walk on a gravel road through the forest which a perfectly enjoy too. I love how your page captures the feel for your photos too. Hugs-Erika
Lovely photos of your walk Chris - I agree with Susi it does look very peaceful. I like the 2nd photo from your walk with the tall flowers especially - is that cow parsley?
I can see why your walk inspired your fabulous page - Love the stamps you used - and the quote was perfect.
Thanks once again for sharing what inspired you and joining in at AJJ.
We could do with some rain down here on the East Coast as its been hot and sultry all week - and breezy at times too.
Hope you've had a good day.

What a lovely, peaceful place! So green, and I can almost hear the birds singing. :)
Lovely photos of your walk Chris, so peaceful, Strange how the colours change when you photograph them, but it's still a great page.

beautiful photos and really like your art page too-hugs
This definitely doesn't look quick and simple to me. It's a wonderful and truly majestic journal entry. I felt like I had taken a walk back in time and shared it with you. Thanks for creating this for Art Journal Journey.
Very unique, yet enjoyable photos from your walk. Nature at its finest and best. Hope you day is going well. I'm playing catch up after an internet meltdown.
What a wonderful way to be inspired. Your page is lovely, but it doesn't look like it was simple and quick to me!
It looks like a wonderful woodland walk Chris, and it inspired a beautiful page!
Happy Friday,
