WOYWW 385

There's a lot going on and not much space left - I know I should tidy a bit but I have things drying all over the place!!
I am joining Julia's merry band of desk exposers at Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday so I don't suppose any one will mind the mess! If it does offend you please look way quickly and I do apologise!!
Okay I admit it - there are a few things that could have been put straight back into their homes but I was enjoying myself too much!
The page you see here has a few layers on it - it started with some orange and gold paint that was mop up stuff - I didn't know where to go then so I gessoed over it - this morning I sprinkled it with PA Infusions and let it move around bit while I dried it - what next? I have no idea, but I expect that something will come to me while we are in the cinema - we are off to see 'Inferno'
Film Review
Last week we went to a Silver Screen viewing go 'The Legend Of Tarzan' We like Silver Screen at the Odeon - £3 each and a cup of coffee (and a biscuit if you wish) - the films are a few months older than those currently screening but we don't mind as we miss quite a few that we would like to see!
So, Tarzan books were some of my favourites as a teenager and this film is one I think Edgar Rice-Burroughs would have been pleased with! The film moves quite well with a good background story for those who don't know it! I enjoyed it so much the time passed really quickly!

Hope to get around to visiting later!

Thanks for looking, Chris

  4. Nothing says a happy crafter quite the same as a busy desk does.
Thanks for the review of the Tarzan film, look forward to the next one - do you get inspiration fro the films you watch? I loved the credits for The Musketeers that has just finished on tv and would love to recreate a journal page much like they were.
    Hugs, Neet 2 xx

  7. Oh my goodness why would I look away quickly…reminds me of mine but yours has different stuff to snoop through! I don't like going to opening shows…always so crowded and always so expensive. We have what we call a Dollar Theater here in town and we usually wait and go see the movies we want to see when they are there. Missed seeing Tarzan though cause they have some movies that are only there a day or two and it was one of those. Have a great week. Vickie #11

  9. Happy WOYWW. Loving the colour of the journal page. I have so many that are started and nowhere near finished! We rarely go to the cinema. In fact I can't remember the last time we went. There are talks that they are going to build a new one in our local town (the old one is horrible and the seats very uncomfy), which will be fantastic. I really want to see Inferno - love Tom Hanks. 13. This photograph speaks of a content crafter :) I'm a messy worker and just do not have the space I need to work or store so I can relate LOL.
    Glad you enjoyed the film.

  17. Fantastic workspace. We love the mess. Your page is coming along quite nicely. I wish we had a cheaper theater for older movies. Often I'm not up for the cost of new releases, but I would have paid it for Tarzan. Unfortunately, by the time I had the time to go, it wasn't playing anymore. Happy WOYWW week! LisaDV #35

  19. I'm not one to stop what I'm doing to tidy up either. SO, your desk looks perfectly fine to me. It looks like it's in the midst of making a masterpiece! :)

Thanks for the review of Tarzan. I was wondering about it! And, your theater choice sounds perfect to me. We tend to miss a few movies on the big screen too because we just let time roll by. I'd love to have something similar nearby!
    Have a great week

  20. Hi Chris. I often find when I'm making things that leaving it for a while and then coming back to it is better than trying to keep going when you're not sure. The only problem is that I end up with loads of half finished projects though even that can be useful when you need a project quick. Thanks for the visit to mine, have a great week and happy belated woyww, Angela x 17

  22. You're amongst friends here - we will never judge the state of your desk because we've all been there, lol!! I just like the fact that you were caught up in the creating, that's what crafting is all about huh?
