Hi everyone, first I would like to welcome my new followers,June , Allienne, Stacy, and Almo, although I now realise that there are more that I did not acknowledge from a while ago - huge apologies!
I would also like to Thank You everyone for your kind comments, they really are appreciated.
Another page for my chosen theme at Art Journal Journey 'If you go down to the woods'
From what I have seen of the entries so far there are so many different takes on the theme!
I used Brushos for the background and then took my journal with me when we went house sitting last week. I used some of my own colouring pens and pencils and borrowed some of my GD's colours too.
I do hope you have found the bears! Of course you did - they are climbing up the other side of the trees, well, actually, Baby Bear, being younger and more agile has reached the top of his tree!
When I was at school we used to have fun making these silly sort of optical illusion pictures - I will see if I can remember some more for another day!
This post will be a scheduled one as we are hoping to go up and stay a couple of nights at our caravan!
Thanks for looking, Chris

hope you have a good stay at the caravan - and not too much snow which I see is forecast! Great trees!!
OH!! I see the bears. This is adorable and clever. Love how you reverted to your teaching years to create this illusion picture. It's adorable.
Have fun at the caravan. Enjoy your time away, dear friend.
Fun page, have a great weekend, and thanks for joining us again at Art Journal Journey, hugs, Valerie
I can see the bears - yes! What a lovely idea and page Chris!
I linked it already to the collection for you - enjoy the days out!

I love your take on the theme. The creation is charming and well done.
Thank you for a nice theme. I made also something on it.
Have a happy weekend,

Terrific shapes and colours for the trees Chris.
The bears will stay indoors if the weather is like it is here--rain, rain and then more rain
Have a good day
Love Chrissie xx
Run page! Those trees are so playful and cheery!
Oh my gosh Chris, this one just made me giggle!! Thanks for that, I really needed to smile a bit this week! You really do have a great sense of humour and style! hugs :)
Love this page Chris what fun, I thought you had the bears off on a picnic somewhere, didn't think of looking for paws and ears so I had to look twice to spot them. Hope you have a nice break in the caravan. Mo x
Love your page - now you will see how warped I really am because when I saw your page I started singing -"where have all the bears gone -- shot by hunters everyone - when will we ever learn -"
Anyway not to worry -- back in the mountains of N.C.where I come from there is a bear hunting season. There are plenty of black bears up in those hills. The mountain people use the bear fat to water proof their boots - they also cook the meat and use the cracklings for corn bread. I have had bear crackling' corn bread -- the taste is a little too wild for me!

Yes I can see the bears Chris, maybe even some ears at the top of one of the trees. Its a fantastic page. Hope you enjoy the stay in the caravan and it isn't snowing.

Haha! Good question.
Love your trees and found a tiny bear (just) at the top of the tree.
Read the comments and found two more. Funny bears, hiding!
