Paper Artsy are featuring Miniature Art as their topic this time so had to play!!!
I also have been wanting to play with my shrink plastic again so set to yesterday!
I got so involved forgot to take photos and then took these in bad light last night. I used the image from Paper Artsy LPC009 and decided I wanted it black and white, having coloured something else in and not liking the colours!
The little wooden frame got the PA Fresco treatment - Mocha Mousse, Crackle glaze and then a combination on Bora Bora and Inky Pool - It didn't crackle as much as I'd hoped but this turned out to be an advantage as when I added the copper acrylic paint with my finger I really liked the effect I got.
I had already made a hole in the top so just had to relocate it and push it through and here is my little ornament.
This is the start of my Christmas ornaments for next year - the back looks ok but I'm thinking of needle felting something..we'll see!
