Hi everyone, we have a new topic at Try It On Tuesday - we'd like you to 'Make Your Own Background'. You can see the variety here that the Design Team have made.
I must say that this is something that I love to do, whether it's just spattering some paint around, smudging ink, using my gelliplate or, as I have done today, use one(or two) of my many stencils.
I used a favourite Lavinia stamps stencil, masked off with some copier paper with a hole torn out of the middle. I added some sponged paint around the edge. The stamps are by Paper Artsy and Chou and Flowers.
I hope you will have fun when 'You Make Your Own Background' for our TIOT challenge this time, which runs for the usual two weeks.
Thanks for looking, Chris
I would also like to enter at Art Journal Journey where Gillena has chosen a brilliant theme 'Trees Are Awsome Aren't They?'

So lovely Chris, how you developed the background it really draws the eye in to your focal... fabulous page. Hugs Tracey x
