Hi everyone, I had already started this page when we decided to take a walk in a local park - Marie Louise Gardens as we were passing. We hadn't been there since 2020 - it is a short walk away from our apartment and is well known for squirrels coming up and taking food from offered hands.
Hubby had walked on a little as I saw this squirrel coming towards me - My first thought was 'Aah! Cute' but as it came closer and closer I became convinced that it was going to jump on to me to see what I had in my hand so I took the cowards away out and stamped my feet at it!
Here are more photos of the park.
The Gardens are named for a local lady and were made especially in her memory - you can read the tragic story HERE
For such a small park there was so much lovely Autumn colour!
The park looks gorgeous in the sun, but what a sad story. The squirrel wouldn't have hurt you, there is a regular at Kew who feeds them often and they climb all over him on the bench..
ReplyDeleteA beautiful look into where your art comes from. I enjoyed seeing it. Aloha!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos of the beautiful park. It looks like a great place to comtemplate nature and think awhile. I really liked your collage page.
ReplyDeleteYour assertive squirrel wouldn't make me happy, but your art squirrel wins the popularity award. Isn't it a great image? You made a super page, and it looks like you had a nice walk also.Have a great rest of your week. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThe squirrels on your page are cute, and you're Autumn photos of the park are stunning. What happened to the bold squirrel?
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful page! The leaf background is the perfect backdrop for those pretty Stamperia papers and I love those red squirrel images 😊. I would have stamped my feet to stop the squirrel too. Hugs, Jo x
